Party 95.5 Internet Radio

November 28, 2008

Welcome back to The Expressionist Magazine

All the new technology, such as satellites and the Internet, help to broaden our horizons with communication and its uses.  Radio is being revolutionized by these two simple to use, yet complex mediums, because unlike standard FM radio, it has no boundaries.  For instance, standard FM radio frequencies can only travel so far before you lose the station, which is not the case with satellites and the Internet, as you can listen from anywhere, anytime and in most cases, get HD quality sound.  Party 95 5 is one of those stations utilizing the power of the Internet to reach millions across the world, helping them to dance the night away.

Party 95 5 is a Top 40 radio station via the Internet.  The most amazing part of the equation is that the station is run from the comforts of their home in New Port Richey, Florida, in a converted garage. Party 95 5 offers opportunities for new talent to come in and do live web cam interviews and shows, while streaming simultaneously with audio on the regular station.  There are many different types of music played, but mainly mixes of some old school 90s hip hop, dance and techno music; but rock and metal are included.  The only kind of music they won’t play is death metal.  Just recently Party 95 5 came out to Rocktober Fest ’08 and broadcasted the entire event via Internet radio and web cam, it received hits from 12 states and 5 countries.

For this band of DJ’s, the road to success has not come easy. Party 95 5 started in their bedroom with 100 listeners; overnight it went to 16,000 listeners and a new studio in New Port Richey. They actually had to disband and reassemble this baby of theirs because its success grew so rapidly overnight, it was something they were not prepared for financially. After reorganizing the operation they now have a wonderful station that brings back memorable songs from the 80s and 90s with a huge line of today’s music, we all know and love. The DJs are dedicated to this station, making a successful venture that every music lover can enjoy.  Currently their station runs mainly off playlists, but every Wednesday night, at 8:30 PM DJ Matty-O gets on the webcam and offers live interviews; sometimes when possible he will do a live audio broadcast.  Party 95 5 also features DJ Tommy T from the NYC on the first Saturday of the month for 4 hours.  They also have the likes of DJ Andre from Arkansas, and Doreen/DJ Fantasy and Executive Assistant to Make-Em Dance and The Party 95 5 to give you different personalities and moods.

Party 95 5 has big goals for this station, they want to someday offer a FM station for the Tampa Bay area, and they want to open up a dinner/music hall in the Pasco County area for bands to play. DJ Matty-O and DJ Tommy have made great connections with local artists, merchandisers, and producers that can help out any band.  They are always looking for new talent to come through their doors.  All they require is a written biography, a signed 8×10 photo and a CD.  They will not accept an electronic press kit.

The Party 95 5 crew is actively looking for advertisers for their station.  There is a lot of potential for advertisers on their web radio station, because it can be listened to anywhere in the world, at anytime.

The entire staff at Party 95 5 sees how much potential and talent Tampa Bay has in the music industry and it has become their goal, like ours, to bring that talent to the listeners through their radio station.  Hit them up at www.live365/stations/partystation, because you never know, your song might be the next song played on this Top 40 radio station.

The Warrior Woman- Saving Teens Through Writing

November 28, 2008

100_2190_3Society today is not like it was when we were children.  Kids today are dealing with struggling families, increased drop out rates, teen pregnancy, prescription and street drugs.  There are so many more obstacles on top of the struggles of puberty.  In situations that are negative in a child’s life, no matter the age, they tend to find shelter in places and with people that can do more harm than good.  Even though they are raised well, if they suffer from low self esteem, or think they have no purpose in life they become hopeless.  That’s where The Warrior Woman comes in.

The Warrior Woman is a non-profit organization that attempts to bring teens and at-risk youth a means of artistic expression through empowering writing workshops.  Giving them a positive alternative to drugs, alcohol, and the negative situations they face.  The Warrior Woman uses the power of art to express themselves, and their chosen medium is the literary arts.

warrior_womanAdrienne Nadeau, founder and president of The Warrior Woman, is a poet.  Her poems are extremely intense and make you think.  She focuses on the events and situations that we deal with on an everyday basis; and expresses her opinion about them through her writing.  She demonstrates the power of writing can be just as powerful as the sword.  She shows you first hand you can express yourself through poetry in a safe and fun manner.  By taking her own frustrations, and her own talent and ability, she is trying to shake up things and hopefully change the lives of our youth through poetic parameters; that is how The Warrior Woman, Inc. was born.

Adrienne noticed that budget cuts through schools are just one of those things we can’t control.  Unfortunately for the kids, the art and music departments are usually the first on the chopping block.  Sure they may not be academically challenging, but art challenges the soul and mind to create and express yourself.  To try to help the schools, The Warrior Woman goes to schools and performs these workshops and does it mostly without compensation to allow the schools have the art which is so important but not hurt their budgets.

The Warrior Woman, Inc. and Adrienne Nadeau are setting up many great events throughout the Tampa Bay area over the next few months to raise funds for her cause.  Those events include: A Writing Camp, and a few open mic nights at clubs around the Tampa Bay area.  Details for all of these events are coming, check their web site for all the details as they arise.

100_2201Through great community support from businesses and good Samaritans, they give The Warrior Woman a chance to accomplish their goals, spread the word, and help keep this organization alive.  We can’t forget how much one person can make a huge difference, and it starts in the community; and we encourage those who can help to please help: businesses, individuals, the young and old, male and female, the rich and the poor, it doesn’t matter what you are, you can make a difference.  If you can’t donate, volunteer… there isn’t a contribution that is too small, just ask the Warrior Woman and I’m sure they’ll agree.

I personally commend this organization for what they do.  They are bringing art awareness and appreciation to our youth, in an attempt to steer them in the right direction through a positive process.  When the kids create their art be it through literary expression or fine art expression, they will end up with something they can be proud of, which in turn gives them a step in the right direction.  We need more organizations like this in our communities.  The Warrior Woman also has the full support of this magazine, and hopefully anyone that reads this article.  She is what’s right with America!

The Redheads- Country Therapy

November 28, 2008

l_3115bba78f5f241746c55523142408dbThe Redheads are a  country story so to speak, that starts out as a tragedy and blossoms into a fairytale present.  I say present because they have so much more to do and the end is not in sight.  Their story should be an inspiration to us all, and should inspire others to follow suit.  I know these ladies will live happily as their career continues to blossom.

Picture it, a young red headed beauty, horse back riding across a meadow on her valiant steed, wind blowing through her long hair and a smile across her face.  What can go wrong, its a picture of beauty; that is until a split second moment that turns her life around.  Brooke was thrown from her steed and trampled by her beloved horse and a tragic accident.  Brooke luckily is alive, but badly beat up.  The horse accident caused her muscles to tense up forcing her to slowly stop living life as she knows it; as Brooke was unable to walk properly for a while. She is forced to drop out of regular school, and get home schooled; meanwhile she slipped into a depression, and almost loses her will to live.  That is until country music shines its brilliant rays of hope on this young southern belle.

It was then that Brooke and her sister Brittta, discovered the healing power of music.  They were immediately hooked on the sound country had to offer. It gave Brooke a new found purpose and Britta a fun outlet with her sister, this became the start of the country duo “The Redheads.”  They say that Country music offers them real life stories that captured their hearts,  allow them to cry and find inspiration when they need it,  and most importantly laugh when they needed to. To imagine, it all started with country legend Loretta Lynn.  Britta came home one day and Brooke said…”This is what we are going to do, we’re going to sing country.” listening to a Loretta Lynn song on TV.  From there the rest was history and these two sisters have never looked back.

As their career blossoms, they have found themselves in some great places around the United States such as: Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee and the Carolinas. They hope someday to be included in the Grand Ole Opry,  as opposed to just watching it from the crowd, i’ts one of their many goals as country singers.

theredheads1sThe Redheads are a unique band that reincarnates some of country music’s past traditions.  For example, they are sisters and they form a duo; country music has long been known for family heritage, look at the Judds and the Osmonds. The Red Heads are in good company there and its so nice to see this tradition back.  They are female, and as country music grows more and more, women are making their mark on this genre of music; taking it to new heights and new experiences.  Britta and Brooke are in the midst of it, while etching a name for themselves in country music’s rock foundation, they are bringing back traditions and changing the future of country music one song at a time.

Personally I love their music, they have crisp clean vocals that promotes all kinds of emotion  in their songs.  Its good, clean, quality music that was the basis of which country music is based; and it tells a story.  This duo will definitely  capture the hearts of America and take the country music scene by storm.

Los Hijos De Ismael – Spanish Roots

November 28, 2008

When you think of family and how you grew up, you will see that our family and culture is a big part of who we are today.   Our parents pass on genetic traits that become evident in our lives.  This is exactly the case with our featured band Los Hijos De Ismael and the bands alter ego, Triptico.

Alejando and his brother Gabe who make up the core of Los Hijos De Ismael (translated to the Sons of Ismael) were born and raised in Cuba, before moving to the Costa Rica.  These two places use music as a vital part of their culture, and the boys grew up with music in their blood. Their parents are also artistically inclined which was passed on to their sons.  Growing up, they can remember all the wonderful music they heard, they knew then and there that music was going to play an intricate part of their lives no matter what they do. They were not brought up with just Spanish music either, they loved English bands like Pink Floyd, Incubus and many more.  Their blend of music tastes would send them into an amazing transformation when they hit America.

They came to America for college but they insisted they would continue on with their music; so the brothers started a band that included a bit of the Spanish music they were born and raised on, while mixing Rock songs into their act.  They found that the Spanish population in Tampa was more into the Spanish music they performed and not so much into the rock music part; while the native Tampa population enjoyed the Spanish music but favored the rock a little bit more.  It was then when they created an alter ego to actually separate the genres and still allow them to keep both forms alive.  A risky decision, but because of their immense passion for music they are pulling it off.  The band split into what is now Triptico, which incorporates more of the rock sound, with some Spanish flare; and Los Hijos De Ismael which is strictly the Spanish music they were accustomed to growing up.  The main identity is Los Hijos De Ismael; and here in Tampa with the huge Cuban and Spanish culture and history it possesses, they are sure to fit in and make a nice niche for themselves.

Both of the bands identities are very well performed, with great vocals and sounds.  Triptico is not as complex as their other band as it contains a lead guitar, bass and drums.  Los Hijos De Ismael on the other hand includes the same instruments but they incorporate bongos, saxophones, flutes and chimes into the music.  Each identity has its own unique feel and message which captivates their audiences.

The brothers are using their music to try to bring art back into the area, and expose the citizens to something different.  They suggest going to see local bands, and love working with other bands to promote music into our culture.  They want other bands to contact them, so they can get together and make art/music happen.  The brothers love doing festivals, and charitable work as much as they love doing the gigs around town.  In my experience I found that when an artist does all they can to change the community they live in, and bring positive influences to the area, they tend to go far.

Los Hijos De Ismael is ready to launch their first album set to hit the streets in late December.  They are playing at the Fly Bar in downtown Tampa, on December 20th to promote their new album.  The actual CD launch show will be at Skippers Smokehouse either January 6th or January 13th; keep checking their web site for up to date information. The CD has 12 songs of their 30 they have in their repertoire.  Listening to them, even if you don’t speak Spanish, this album has a wonderful smooth feel that can calm you down and make you feel like you were on the beaches of Costa Rica sipping on a large Margarita basking in the sun.  It’s a definite must have album.  We invite you to experience the sound, and see a whole new culture.

To find out more about the band like upcoming gigs, how to purchase the CD, and even get the links to their debut appearance on WMNF 88.9 FM’s Latino 54 In Session, go to their official web site http://www.loshijosdeismael.com.  There you will find a link to the alter ego Triptico if that’s more your speed. Either way this band has something for everyone, they bring a whole other culture to our backyards for us to experience if we only give it a chance, and they will make you smile with their beautiful songs.

Tyler Stock – Keep On Movin…

November 25, 2008

I actually stumbled upon Tyler one day down in Ybor City.  I will never forget it, he was playing at Market Street and 7th and his music just flowed like a boat down a river. The sound was fresh and clean, enjoyable and something you can also dance to .  Add to it the energy and emotion Tyler Stock had on stage and it sets him apart from the rest.  I knew then and there that he had a passion for music and believed in himself and his musical capabilities, which will take him far.

His music has a blues and jazz feel to it, mixed with rock and many other kinds of sounds.  When I asked him what genre he would classify his music as, he said “Tyler.”  What a brilliant reply as it is so unique because it has so many different sounds to it.  What else could it be but his own, and “Tyler” would be the best classification of his music. I had the right idea when I mentioned blues and jazz, but “Tyler” fits it so much better and ties it down better than any other genre could.

Tyler brings a fresh perspective to music that I’m blown away with.  He said to his drummer one day, “I don’t want you to play the drums, I want your drums to make music.”  When I think about that statement, I can easily see why his music is so good.  It is like the saying, “you gotta get hot to play real cool.”  You can play an instrument all you want but you need to learn how to make music with it.  Tyler is a musical genius and he has a degree in music and production to prove it, which he graduated super cum laude.

Despite his growing success here, he has traveled all over the U.S.  He is a nomadic artist if you will.  He was originally from Missouri, lived in Nashville and did the country scene before blowing that all off, coming to Tampa a year ago.  He says that music truly has been his only friend throughout the years, his guitar more specifically, because no matter what, it has come with him and it is something he never had to leave behind.  Without music, Tyler Stock would probably be a lost soul looking for purpose in this vast universe.  He puts his emotions into every song and communicates and expresses himself through it as well.  When you can do that successfully, your music takes on a new appreciation and meaning.

When all is said and done and he reflects back on his career in music, he said he probably will never attain his goals because they are fluid and ever changing.  As an artist, he will be climbing a plateau, sometimes going higher and sometimes staying put on the flat ledge.  As long as he’s breathing his ideas, they will forever flow and his goals and accomplishments to him, will never be fulfilled.  What a great way to look at life because once we accomplish our goals, what else is left?  If you keep striving for more, your potential has no beginning and no end.

Tyler has an album out, “A Cure For The Awkward Silence”, which can be found through his MySpace page, www.tylerstock.com, CD Baby and can be downloaded on iTunes.  He prefers you buy it from him at a concert so you can enjoy his live performance.  He is working on a new CD that will offer some of his recorded work and some live tracks such as MTV’s Unplugged series of CD’s that came out in the 90′s.

Tyler is an amazing performer and artist and I suggest going to see him play live at Whiskey North in Carrollwood, Tampa or check out his music online.  He is currently looking for a bass player and keyboardist to complete his band, but the lack of those positions being filled hasn’t slowed him down at all.  Today he is touching lives in every place he rests his head and plays music for.

One Life To Live 11-24-08

November 25, 2008

Things have come to a head since the last time I updated.  With all thats going on it looks like things are slowing down a bit for the crew.

Jarred and Natalie were saved from the room Tess built in the basement.  Charlie found the dynamite and ran it upstairs throwing it out the door as it exploded and nobody was injured.  Tess had the baby, then found it still born; in order to maintain composure, Bess her third alter ego came to life.  Bess swapped her dead baby with Star’s baby without anyone knowing, she then returned to Jess’s old cottage where Jess came back.  She was stunned to see the baby in her arms; but as she found the baby her mom and dad found her.  Jess was checked into a mental hospital for further evaluation.  Tess however was crying to Bess to let her find out how her baby was because she knew the baby was not crying.  Bess reluctantly agreed, and Tess met up with her mom and demanded she see the baby.  She brought the baby in and Tess freaked saying that was not her baby.  Bess then returned Tess to the “Cage” and let Jessica back out.

John McBain found Marty at Todd’s house while he was at the hospital trying to get the doctor to not follow through with his plan.  When he returned he encountered John and Marty and she had a gun to John.  John told her that Todd raped her, and she had a son.  It was then that Marty freaked out, John beat Manning to an inch of his life.  Cops came in, arrested John, Todd and took Marty to the hospital.  Marty was checked out by the doctor, and she met Cole at the hospital.  Cole was shocked to see her but he’s furious at Manning for keeping her from him all that time.  He is also upset his mom does not recognize him.  John was released by the Mayor who realized John could end his career.  He offered him an apology and gave John his job back.  However John turned the job down.  Blair is now afraid that John will go back to Marty.  She is disgusted at Todd for what he did and she told Star about her dad’s attempted plan to steal the baby.

Despite the fact her baby was OK, Dr. Joplin came back and told Star her baby was dead.  In reality Jessica has the baby but doesn’t know it because her alter egos do not share memories.  Star is crushed.  Dorian is pissed that she can’t get answers but vows to get some on why the baby died when it was perfectly healthy.

Rex and Gigi got a visit from Brody’s Marine friend, who asked Rex to drop the charges.  Rex realized Brody needed help as opposed to jail. He asked Nora to drop the charges but she can’t do it.  They did however strike a deal to get Brody checked into a hospital that will help him with these dreams and rages he received from being in the army.  Its rumored that while he is there, Jess and him will hook up and become a couple.  Shane is still getting used to the fact Rex is his dad, and Rex is happy for this.

American Folk Art

November 20, 2008

untitled2We all know that throughout the centuries, art has played an important role in our culture.  We watched art evolve throughout the years, from a simple rock carving or basic rock painting into realism within the Renaissance era.  Despite the fact that each era has its own technique and goals it is trying to apply, everywhere around the world had its own unique style.

For instance, the colonists that formed the original 13 colonies came from England mostly.  Despite the fact it’s where the Renaissance took place, they had their own style as well.  Mostly known as Folk Art.

When you see these pictures, it is easy to tell they are early American.  For instance, most of the pictures you will find are simple in nature.  They depict scenes from the town as it looked back then, but on a 2D (two dimensional) style.  They didn’t use many color tones, and the colors were not vivid like an Elizabethan era painting.  Sometimes the portraits would resemble that of a modernism expression, but generally they stuck to a 2D perspective.

untitledDespite the techniques, the 2D perspective and the lack of highlights and shadows, these paintings are our history.  They tell us the tales of our country’s beginning.  They show us how simple life was, but how strict it had to be to ensure proper etiquette and social status, and for the longevity of their loved ones.  These photos depict how people dressed, what people found important, which far differs from today.  Without these pictures we would have lost the documentation of our relatives (since there were no cameras in the late 1700′s to mid 1800′s), we would have lost our history; these paintings are some of the only ways we can see what life was like.  Sure the pen and paper still exist from back then and we have records, but those records fade and can become unreadable.

untitled1I hope people take the time to really study and enjoy these works of art.  Look into them deeply and you will see the past take shape like it was a movie.  These simple portraits and paintings will take you back to a time where life was short, work was hard and people were measured in wealth by their plates and furniture, not cars and the size of their homes.  It will take you back to a time where people fought for the country, bled red, white and blue and loved the freedoms we have bestowed on us today because of them.  These paintings speak mountains of information and are there to speak only if you are there to listen.

Each one of these photos are hanging at the Wadsworth Atheneum in Hartford, Connecticut.  They are originals that date from 1776 to 1850, and are local Connecticut residents from New England’s past.  These photos do have some glare but that is because of the lights they have on them and they were taken with my cell phone.  Look them over, study them, see the expressions and the clothing.  Look how they stand and sit because it tells a great tale of American past that has shaped our future.

Shanice – Saving Forever For You

November 20, 2008

Shanice had a name synonymous with the 90′s, but her beautiful voice made her songs unforgettable.  Her singing, unfortunately, was very sporadic throughout her career which spans up to today. In the 90′s her songs were simple and fun. Shanice really was at the beginning of the pop music evolution, yet her songs will bring you back to a simpler time in our music world.

Despite the fact that Shanice had a few hits, like “I Love Your Smile” on her “Inner Child” album, and her song that forever made her a teen idol “Saving Forever For You” that debuted on America’s favorite drama, 90210, she only produced a few albums kind of making her a one hit wonder.  “Saving Forever For You” was featured on the 90210 soundtrack.

Shanice briefly went into the acting world as she made a few cameo appearances on TGIF’s hit ”Family Matters,” as Eddie Winslow’s girlfriend.  She played herself, not a made up character, who talked Eddie out of quitting school to become a singer and to follow through with his parents wishes for him to continue high school and college.  She mentioned herself, that she was pursuing a college career which shocked Eddie.  That piece on “Family Matters” was not just a cameo roll, it really spoke about her.  It had a deeper meaning, which told America, she loved to sing but it just wasn’t what she wanted to do.  She wished she had stayed in school and was dropping back in.  After that appearance, Shanice disappeared from the world of music for about three years when she resurfaced with a new look and a new sound with “21 Ways To Grow” in 1994.  She had another album self titled “Shanice” released 5 years later in 1999, and in the same year her ”Ultimate Collection” CD.  She again disappeared and has now resurfaced again in 2006 with another album ”Every Woman’s Dreams.”  Her ”Inner Child” album to me, defined Shanice and made her a house hold name.

Today, Shanice’s songs sing on.  I still love both her songs “I Love Your Smile” and ”Saving Forever For You.”  Her beautiful voice and her energetic personality live on.   Her new albums are not as popular as “Inner Child” maybe because of her long hiatus from the music scene before releasing something new, therefore causing people to forget her; but her “Inner Child” album is immortal and part of the pop evolution.

Los Hijos De Ismael On WMNF

November 20, 2008

3022356054_f51a828f88_o“Quiet on the set, we’re live in 5-4-3-2….”, said the DJ Franco Silva of Latino 54 as the theme music started to play. It was a special night for WMNF and Los Hijos De Ismael because it was the very first show of “Latino 54 In Session”, which features a live band throughout the 54 minute show. It was an inauguration if you will, and Los Hijos De Ismael was the first band chosen to be featured on the show.

That night was special for me too, as they gave me a personal invite to see the show as it was being taped.  The band opened my eyes to a wonderful island sound, native to their homes in Cuba and Costa Rica, that I truly fell in love with.  Being American and not leaving the homeland, it’s not always easy to hear music from other countries.  These guys showed me what I was missing all these years and exposed me to a whole new world of music.

Throughout the night, I was serenaded by wonderful vocals and melodies.  Their band includes instruments such as percussion (Bongos & Chimes), bass and acoustic guitars, drums and a saxophone.  The blend of instruments gives a soothing sound that is fresh and enjoyable, mixed with the great vocals of Alejandro and you have a complete package of great music.

Los Hijos De Ismael, translated into “The Sons of Ismael” are brothers who have an alter ego music personality.  The boys love rock, typical of what you and I are more accustomed to, but they take their rock and still throw in their beloved home music sound to it.  That band is called Triptico, their “ROCK” alter ego.  Then they have Los Hijos De Ismael which is their true personality and is what they focus more on because it is the music they grew up loving. When I see these guys, I truly get the feeling that if music was not a part of their lives, they would be lost without an identity.  Their music keeps them close to home, it defines who they are, and you can see how much their music affects their soul.  They are doing something right because it also captured my soul, opened my eyes to something new; not only a music genre but a new culture.

In December they are expected to have their first ever CD released, with their complete band.  We are featuring this band in December which covers the band in more detail.  I am very honored to have been a part of this momentous night, a night of firsts and got to watch this fantastic band be taped for the radio.  I made a podcast of the show which can be downloaded via our iTunes link in the multimedia link and it is also available on WMNF’s radio station www.wmnf.org.  Regardless of where you pick up the Podcast, it’s the full show… the complete interview and about 5 of their hits.  You’ll even hear me give a testimonial to the band.  Don’t miss downloading this piece of history in the Tampa Bay area.

One Life To Live 11-4-08

November 4, 2008

Its been a slow few weeks with plots gearing up for some great finishes, one of the reasons the updates have not been coming in, it was a lot of the same old, same old stuff with the stories coming to a head.

One story coming to a head was Clint Buchannan trying to get B.E. back.  As we all knew Clint was turning into his father trying to get the company back, which really it was stolen from him, it tore his family apart and killed Nash, his son-in-law that sent Tess back.  His plan to get back at Dorian was to bring Langston’s (Dorian’s soon to be adopted daughter) uncle out of Columbia, fight for custody, win and threaten to bring her to Columbia should Dorian not sign over the company.  Dorian countered this act by trying to have Ray Montez bumped off.  The plan almost went through had John McBain not shot the would be assassin at the airport, but not before Ray Montez’s wife shot Ray almost killing him.

Ray still has custody of Langston, and lies in a bed fighting for life but regains consciousness.  Clint comes to his senses and has the Colombian government claim him as an escaped convict, freeing Langston to be adopted by Dorian…. however because of her role in the shooting, Nora, Clint’s girlfriend makes a deal with Dorian, she gives up C.E. and there will be no charges pressed on her.  Ironically Dorian agrees and B.E. is back, and she has Langston.

Now, Ray Montez woke up and is saying he did not kill his wife to put him in prison, his new wife did.  Ray may be an innocent man but in a Colombian judicial system corruption runs amok so this could lead to a whole new chapter story, as Christian is now getting close to Ray’s daughter protecting her as his own and I think maybe falling for Ray’s wife.  There is rumor that Sarah and Tina will be running away for protection, basically going on a vacation or maybe a contract deal glitch, which could lead to Christian falling for Ray Montez’s wife.

Todd Manning is still lying about Marty being alive, and is still planning on taking the baby from Star maliciously, but it seems like Marty is starting to work the good out of Todd and he may call the whole plot off.   Meanwhile, Cole has come to his senses and realized he was trying to keep the baby to keep his mother’s memory alive, he is by Star’s side as she is about to have the baby.  The real question is, will Todd go through with his horrible plan?

Tess is still running her diabolical scheme, she now has Jarred in the hole with Natalie and has set a large amount of dynamite in the cellar to blow them up, she knows her mom is there too but doesn’t care.  Charlie confronted her and she nailed him on the head with a pan in the kitchen of her moms home.  Vicki found Charlie and now knows that Jess is Tess and that something must be done, because she is the cause of Natalie and Jarred’s disappearance.  Tess ran away thinking she is safe and Bree is safe because she is at Todd’s when really she is at the home that is about to blow up.  Its rumored that Vicki’s alter ego will emerge to bring Jess back and help save Natalie and Jarred.  Supposedly by the 13th of November this story should come to an end.

As we all knew Rex and Gigi are back together, they planned on telling Shane that Rex was his real dad, but before that could happen Brody kidnapped Shane and almost killed him.  Instead he shot Rex who clung to life in a coma.  Adrianna comes back in a cameo appearance, and takes total control over Rex and doesn’t allow Gigi or Shane to see him.  Upon the doctors saying that they can do no more for him, Adrianna has Rex taken to her home to keep Gigi away.  Marci and Gigi find out where Rex is and sneak her in Dorian’s house, to Rex’s side.  Gigi somehow gets Rex to emerge from the coma, but Adrianna was there to watch.  She then admitted that a divorce was necessary, realizing that Gigi could do what she couldn’t.  Rex goes home with Gigi and Adrianna goes back to Paris.  Shane meanwhile is at Clint’s home with Bo’s son who went through a similar deal.  He said he always thought of his known dad as his dad like Shane with Brody but it was cool that he got to know Bo as his real dad and wouldn’t change a thing.  It was tough at first but well worth it, which made Shane think.  It will be some time for Shane to come around but I expect he will embrace Rex as his dad.
