Bo, Brody and John secure Lawrence who tells everyone he got off scott free for the death of Jarred, but found himself in cuffs for the deaths of two in Llanview once thought to be Jarred as the killer.

Following the debacle, everyone went to the grave site to inter Jarred, and his body was going to meet up with his casket at the grave.  Also, Nash was going to be re-interred after Mitch dug him up and brought him to California.

Dorian Lord is now Mayor

Vicki respectfully declined the mayor position she won because of her families recent tragedy; and the city council deemed Dorian Lord mayor.  As she was sworn in, she decided to go through with her promise to legalize all the gay marriages.  Upon doing the first one (her own), the attorney general of Pennsylvania came to shut her down.  Failing to abide by the Attorney General’s demand to cease and desist, Dorian legalized her own marriage and was immediately arrested.  The crowd cheered for her stance, and Fish was ordered to arrest her; resisting and willing to give up his badge, Dorian says to keep the badge on and arrest her.  This was her way of giving into the cause.

In jail she meets her former husband, Mitch Lawrence, who starts to work on her nerves and gets under her skin.

Stacy tells Schyler he is the father

In a turn of events, and hopes to shut up Schyler; Stacy’s friend tells him he is the father and not Rex.  Now he knows the truth, however the baby is actually Fish’s child; but the truth that it’s not Rex’s baby.  He could save the relationship of Rex and Gigi, but with his own feelings toward Gigi, he’s torn to do the right thing or keep the status quo.  We can only hope he will come clean, but either way, it looks like Gigi is falling for him and Rex may be thrown to the curb for someone elses baby.

Over the last few months, we saw someone was stalking Jessica making her think her dead husband was alive.  Last Friday, everything came to a head as Natalie and Jessica come to Napa, CA to Nash’s vinyard and meet their stalker; while running into Jarred.

Jarred admitted to helping with the situation, but only the money transfers because the stalker knew his dad Charlie killed his step-dad.  Natalie and Jessica forgave him, but they were still at the mercy of the stalker… Mitch Lawrence, Jessica’s biological father and Natalies former husband.

John storms in the front of door, Brody in the back and grabs Jessica out of the way.  Jarred is shot by Mitch, and John subdues him.  Natalie runs to her fallen husband, when Charlie and Vicki come to the scene.  Jarred would later die at the hospital, but not before saying goodbye to Natalie and telling Charlie he did kill his step dad, under a drunken stuper; one punch and his step dad fell hitting his head.  Jarred’s body is now being transported back to Llanview, and Napa police are taking possession of Mitch Lawrence.

Bo / Nora / Matthew /Daniella

In the boarding school in London, Matthew runs into Tea’s daughter Daniella, together they make an escape.  Matthew takes her to Seattle and promises her he will get her to Tahiti to be with her “dad.”

Matthew finally gets the surgery, but the inexperienced doctor refused to go through with after he opened Matthew.  Dr. Evans runs to Seattle on a promise to his brother Shaun, and gets there just in time to save Matthew.  It appears that he will be OK.

Daniella talks to Todd, her real father, on Tea’s cell phone.  She still doesn’t know Ross is not her dad.  Tea was about to tell Todd of Danni, but Blair took Todd’s phone and Tea hung up. 

Danni goes to see Matthew, happy to know he will come out OK.

Bo and Nora confess their love for each other in London, and vow to tell Clint; but once Nora gets the phone call from Clint about Jarred that changes the mood from joyful to sorrow and will postpone things.  Her life is happy and sad with Matthew and Jarred.

NEW MAYOR

With all the other things going on, we almost forgot about the Mayor race.  Vicki wins it by one vote, after 3 recounts.

Rex, Gigi

Pissed over the sonogram from Staci, she gets plastered at Rodi’s.  Schyler brings her to his apartment to sleep it off.  Meanwhile, Rex gets home from Michigan, when Gigi gets home.

Rex confronts Roxi about Mitch being his father, and she reluctantly tells Rex the truth.  Rex returns back to Gigi, and tells her that he found his father.

Blaire is OK from her fall from the window at La Boulie, but can’t remember anything a few minutes prior to her fall, specifically the info Tea gave Blaire about her having Todd Manning’s baby.  Rumor has it that Blaire will remember the news and tell Todd while she is in the hospital.

Bo and Nora pull a fast one on Matthew who was going to Seattle for his surgery.  They got him on their private jet and told him they would fly him to Seattle.  Instead, once airborne, tell Matthew they are not going to Seattle but London instead.  They got him a new school which he will be living in a boarding house; just so they can stop him from making a mistake with this surgery and give him more time to think.  Matthew is absolutely livid and no longer trusts his parents.

Natalie is awake now also but in a different light.  She found out her husband Jarred had done the stalking on Jessica with this creep he met in prison.  Natalie is blown away, but Jarred got a strange text and bolts from the house.  Natalie tells John McBain everything, and now they must find Jarred.  John and Natalie feel he is being controlled by someone more powerful, and Delphina just told Jessica and Brody that another death was about to happen… I have a feeling its Jarred since his contract was not renewed.

At the conference she was being grilled by the press and the Gay and Lesbian Foundation members; so Dorian announced she was a lesbian and Kim was her fiance, and upon the election she will marry lesbians and gays.  This has really angered Kyle whose boyfriend was in on it; knowing that Dorian is not gay.  This scam freaked out Langston, and will probably haunt her in the end.

Todd showed up looking for his estranged wife Tea, being married for just 1 day; they had a fight that she was married to Ross still and Todd threw her out.  He was going to find her, maybe to talk it through.  Todd showed up at Dorian’s at the press conference knowing Tea would be hunting down Blair.

Inside Blair found out that Tea had a child with Todd and never told him.  That was this huge secret that Tea didn’t want let out and Blair threatened to march right up to Todd and tell him.  The two struggled and threw each other; Tea hit a wall but in an ironic twist of fate, Blair went out a window like she did to Tea years earlier.

Jarred is also under scrutiny, because the stalker happened to end up dead.  John and Brody had their suspicions of Jarred all along but once the body was found they called the last number on his cell and it rang to Jarred’s cell.  They found text messages between the two, e mails and money being wired into the stalker’s account.  Now the question is, was Jarred being blackmailed or was he still out for Jessica’s demise?

Gigi gets Schuyler a job at Roadies, and Kim is going to use that to drive a wedge in between Rex and Gigi in hopes he will run back to Stacy.  Stacy is pregnant but with Fish’s baby, since she lost Rex’s in miscarriage.

Brody is recovering but now worries over this stalker who is set to get revenge on Jarred and Natalie for Nash’s death.  Meanwhile across the hall, the operation Greg performed on Shaun to protect his life failed, his first failure, and he’s killing himself over it.  Shaun lies in a coma with little hope of recovery.

The case of Matthew vs his parents for the right to the surgery came to a close, the judge favored for Matthew granting him the ability to do the surgery if he wishes.  Nora got on her knees begging him to reconsider so he doesn’t end up like Shaun.  In the end, Matthew says he will do the surgery and asks his parents to be brave.

Stacy was having second thoughts about keeping the kid.  She was all set to get an abortion and go to LA with her friend, until they run into Rex and Gigi in the park; and things looked bad in paradise.  Stacy senses she can break them up and this baby is key.  She changes her mind again and will stay the course determined that this baby will break them up and send Rex into her arms.

Meanwhile at the hospital, Shaun was still fighting for his life; he is rolled to surgery where his brother successfully removes the shrapnel but finds some more deeper in his brain.  The removal was very risky and more dangerous than the first piece; but he successfully removes it before Shaun flatlines.  We left them with his brother shocking his heart, then looking solem going to his family in the waiting room.  We don’t know what happened, did Shaun die or is Dr. Evans just shocked with how close he came to losing his brother?  We have to wait till tomorrow.

Downstairs in the ER, Brody is rushed in and Jessica stands at the window praying and pleading for his life… “Not again, I can’t lose another” she says.  Brody is losing a lot of blood, needs a lot of transfusions, but the ER doctors pull the angle iron out and he stabilizes, Jessica runs in and gets in garb to stand by his side.  It appears he will be OK.

Rex goes to the hospital with Stacy but gets no answers.  He wants to know when a paternity test can be performed.  The nurse says at the end of the first trimester. Rex wants to set up the test but is informed its up to Stacy who of course says no.  He wants to know the age of the baby but the nurse gets a call out.  At the end of 9 months when the baby is born, Stacy agreed to give him a paternity test.

Gigi is starting to think that Stacy isn’t pregnant, especially when she finds a pregnancy test box in Rex’s loft.  She tells Schuyler who remembers Stacy doing something to him, and trying to sleep with him.  Stacy manages to get herself pregnant, only a few days though, and the baby is Fish’s but her plan is to make Rex think it’s his.

Amazingly Shaun comes through the shooting alive.  His family reunites at his bedside proud of their hero; but his brother finds a bullet fragment in Shaun’s ct scan which any movement could kill him on the spot, the only neurosurgeon that can do such a surgery is Shaun’s brother.  The family agrees to letting the surgery take place, and Shaun promises Rachel she will be dazzled after his surgery.  Rachel on the other hand was going to see Shaun to break up with him, when she found he was shot.  Will this bring them closer together or farther apart?

To remedy the problem, Serge, Cole’s drug boss runs to Mayor Lowell and asks to kidnap Star and Hope to get Cole.  The Mayor said no, but Serge said if he falls, the Mayor goes with him, so he eagerly agreed.  Serge goes to Dorians, where it was a fight for their lives, he brings three henchmen who try to overtake Todd.  Todd begs for his daughter and grand daughter but to no avail.  Shaun rushes to the rescue, shooting one of the henchmen, knocking out Serge and runs to avert the last thug trying for Hope.  Todd then starts to fight with Serge who regains conciousness, and realizes the man who Shaun shot was gone.  Serge took it to Todd bad, slamming a very large stone planter hard against his head.  Serge props Todd on the wall, and Star freaks out; watching her dad bleed from about ever crevice of his face.  Serge grabs Star and holds her hostage.  Meanwhile upstairs, Shaun knocks out the third thug, but before he can get Hope to safety, the man he shot downstairs, shoots Shaun right in the chest.  The thug grabs Hope, running downstairs to the others.  Just when Serge thinks he got everything, Shaun comes down holding them at gunpoint.  Serge shoots, nailing Shaun right in the neck.

Back at the debate between Lowell and Vicki, John rushes in to arrest the Mayor on national TV.  Mouth’s agape, the Mayor says this is all a mistake until Fish plays the tape of Lowell confessing his involvement and that Cole will die if he knows anything.  The crowd now floored, boo’d the Mayor as he was escorted out of the hall.  His career is done, but now John suspects Star and Hope are in trouble, and rushes to La Boulei

When John arrives he sees Shaun fighting for his life, laying in a large pool of his blood, across the foyer is Todd also fighting for his life; Star and Hope are nowhere to be found, and John tries to save Shaun.

Funny thing about the whole scenario, Todd and Dorian, Star and Hopes family take the news of Cole to the Mayor who was the cause of all this, and their actions actually harm their beloved family.  Nobody listened to Star and now her life is in grave trouble, unless the LPD can stop this before its too late.

This has been by far the most climatic plot of the whole show and really the main point of interest today.  Gigi told Rex she asked Stacy to get an abortion because she can’t live with the fact Stacy is possibly having his child, which would be Shane’s brother and cousin.  Rex was upset, but said that he had to be apart of this child’s life should it be his which would keep Stacy in their lives; but he swore he would never “be” with Stacy.  They fixed things but Gigi said “God help her, but she wished the baby ceased to exist.”

Back at Rex’s loft the paramedics run to Stacy’s aid as she lay on the floor in pain.  She begs them to save her baby, knowing it was the only leverage she had to keep Rex or be apart of his life.  The paramedics had some grim news to tell her, the baby was gone.  Stacy planned to use that baby to keep Rex, which really isn’t a good situation to put a child in, using a baby for your own personal gain.  She knows without that baby, she will not have Rex.  Stacy is so distraught she refuses to go to the hospital, and remains in the loft.  She’s looking at Rex’s picture and I’m pretty sure she will be conjuring up some way to lie about the pregnancy for a while.  She may even go get artificially inseminated to keep the pregnancy going, but upon a DNA paternity test it would prove to be not his.  Looks like Gigi got her wish, but I don’t think Stacy is done yet.  I think she will try to use Schuyler to break the two up, by pressuring him about his feeling for Gigi and making him act on it.  Though that could only get Schuyler hurt, Gigi and Rex really were meant to be together and anyone that steps in their way will fall.

Matthew

With the wedding over, Matthew will be meeting his parents in a preliminary hearing to determine his fate (to get the surgery or not).  Nora however is in some big trouble already, she loves Clint and Bo, but with this trial I feel she will get distracted.  I don’t see this marriage lasting because she will turn to Bo and show her true feelings for him with this trial.  I give this marriage a month tops!

Rex is coming to grips that Stacy’s baby may very well be his.  Gigi asked him to throw her out of his loft, but after going there determined to throw her out on the streets he changed his mind.  Gigi finds out and storms out, she ends up going to see Stacy and gives her 300 dollars for an abortion.  The two girls get into a pretty hot spat and Stacy refuses to get that abortion.  She is determined to bring this child into the world to use it to woo Rex back to her side.  A very sick scenario.  Meanwhile back at home, Rex ends up telling Shane the truth.  Rumor has it that Schyler will try to woo Gigi and will kiss her, but will she take him up on the offer or stick by Rex?  Meanwhile Stacy goes into some severe pain and will more than likely lose the baby.  But will that change Rex’s mind of her?

Nora & Clint/ Charlie and Viki

They finally make it to the alter, but Bo really wants to stop the wedding and profess his love for Nora.  The dual wedding was on, but not without drama, Clint really thought Nora would not come to the alter, but shows up after some delay.  Everything was going well, until Dorian and Blaire show up drunk.  Dorian states the obvious that Clint should be with Viki and Nora with Bo, but toasts in a rude way that she will get the last laugh.  The couples manage to get hitched, and finally can be happy… or can they?  I think Viki and Charlie will be OK, but I don’t see a long happy future with Nora and Clint.  I think Nora won’t be able to hide her feelings for Bo, which will split the couple apart and put brother against brother.

Jessica

For some reason, Jessica is seeing Nash her dead husband.  Why, we don’t know but does he have a problem with Brody?  There isn’t much known about this plot but expect a full come out by Friday… I can feel it.

Personally though I think Stacy “Thinks” it’s Rex’s and will move on it sending us into 9 months of disgusting hell, and tearing up the family again.  Rex won’t go to Stacy though, I am sure of it.  He will think the baby’s his and will support her.  However, I can remember just about 2 months ago, right before this fiasco took place, Stacy slept with Finch.  There is no way, in less than a week, she would have a developed small fetus.  I bet in the end this baby is Finch’s. 

Matthew is actually suing his family for the right to get the surgery, despite his parents dismay.  There isn’t much they can do, and Tea is one tough lawyer who has repeatedly defeated Nora.  Matthew’s case has now made Clint and Nora possibly postpone the wedding, I think Nora is using this as a crutch to avoid marrying Clint.  I would expect to see Nora and Bo get back together soon.  It’s rumored that Rex will tell Bo not to wait on telling Nora how he truly feels.

Dorian is so disgusted with Todd sleeping with Blaire, she is inviting Tea to stay at her house with Todd.  The plan is to sicken Blaire to finally leave Todd for good.  I think we are going to get one nasty cat fight on our hands.

Rex tries to get out of it, saying it means nothing and makes her no better than a tramp.  Stacy surrenders and gives Rex the blood, before completely breaking down on the floor.  Stacy now has more things coming to destroy both Rex and Gigi, the next step is saying she’s pregnant.  She could be from the one time fling at Ultra Violet, but I can’t see them making Rex have two kids, one with each sister.  I think she will fool them all the way.

Matthew Buchannan is suing his parents to be emmancipated.  Being upset with their decision to not allow the surgery that could get him walking again, Matthew needs to be emmancipated so he can accept the surgery himself.  One idea is to get him married for a speedy judgement, and Destiny is lining up to do it for him. Tea is on the case and this will get ugly.

Blaire and John signed the divorce papers and are officially not a couple anymore, but will John get Marty the way he wanted?  Marty has some serious issues to work though and I feel things won’t be the same between them.  He may have given up the best thing in his life for something he once had.

Tea runs into Todd and Blaire having sex in the cabana house and freaks out.  She says she never wants to see, hear or know of Todd again.  She allows Todd to explain himself, but still hits the road after his explanation, which Todd follows suit.  Todd goes to his house where he expects to find Tea, only to find Shawn and he isn’t telling Todd where Tea is; instead Marty come over and confronts Todd saying he is still ruining his life and Todd asks if she still loves him.  Todd is completely caught in this vicious love triangle of all these women he’s destroyed, however none can give him up.  Meanwhile, at the shooting range Tea is trying to shoot a picture of Manning when John McBain walks in.  He gives her some tips on how to shoot the picture.  Tea proceeds to tell John about what she walked in on, and John gets pissed; however he shouldn’t because he made it very clear he wants to be with Marty.  John after the practice shows up at Dorians and is about to talk to Blaire.

Destiny is angry her brother is leaving town and runs to Matthew’s side.  They decide to go get a burger and fries at the Buenos Dios where they run into Shawn, Matthews Sister and Destiny’s brother.  He says he’s going to stay in Llanview to be around his family, but I feel he is going to try to steal Shawn’s girlfriend (Matthew’s sister) and that is the ONLY reason.

Trying to make Todd jealous, Blaire brings in a cabana boy and makes out with him after his swimming lessons with the boys.  Todd tells Blaire he is over her, so she says well thank goodness so if I’m naked that won’t bother you and strips down.  Todd can’t take it and makes love to her in the cabana room.  Meanwhile outside Tea comes back for Todd and hears him screaming in the Cabana.  She opens the door to see what was wrong only to see him making love to Blaire.  This is not going to sit well.

Jessica finally confronts Star and Cole, begging for their forgiveness and apologizing for her actions.  Star said she was angry at first but realized that it wasn’t her that did such a deed, and forgave her in full, Cole gave some advice that he learned from rehab “live for the day” and in doing so he said Jessica was not to blame for his drug addiction and use, and that she shouldn’t keep living in the past over this, instead look to today and tomorrow.

I have a feeling this will work, but with Rex not telling Gigi he slept with Stacy, this will come out once Rex gets the stem cells back as Stacy tries to hurt Gigi in one last ditch effort.  Will it work, and keep the two apart?  We’ll see.  But Schyler is starting to fall for Gigi, so if it’s done between Rex and Gigi because he slept with Stacy, it may be time for Schyler or Gigi will have two guys fighting for her love.

On another note, the Manning situation is growing volatile.  Todd’s plan to have Blaire be the bad guy and keep Star and Cole from marrying fell through.  He reluctantly allowed the two to marry, because he knew Cole was going to prision.  Just before they were pronounced,  John McBain runs in with good news, Cole isn’t going to jail, but what he has to do in lieu of prision won’t be much better.  The wedding breaks up for a moment, and Cole asks Star if she still wants to marry him, she said yes, but not now…  So we will see what becomes of them.

Dorian is still trying to fix the fences she tore down with Langston and Marco, she desperately needs the support of Vicki and Charlie, Mo and the bodyguard or the deal is off for Marco.  The dinner is set for 7pm and nobody is returning her call.  Will this be salvaged or will Langston lose Marco forever?  In my personal opinion, I would look to see Marco moving out and living at Dorians.

Last week, Stacy seduces Rex and he tells her that she is the one he wants, and they proceed to make love on the floor of his club.  Shortly after Rex starts to realize he may have made a mistake on impulse.  Stacy goes to gloat to Gigi at Rodies.  Meanwhile, Gigi who just got done spilling her guts to Natalie about why she lied to Rex, is on her way to confront Rex and finally tell him the truth.  Gigi lays it out flat, exactly what Stacy did to her and how she was going to let their son die if she didn’t get Rex.  Rex was floored and now realized he made a terrible mistake with Stacy.  Stacy however comes in and sees the two of them together.

Rex says to Gigi get out, he’s done with her making it seem very convincing; Stacy is overwhelmed.  Once Gigi leaves, its back to status quo as normal with Stacy and Rex, until she goes to kiss him, Rex turns his head and sends her out the door.  Gigi goes back to Rodies devastated and tells Schyler the whole thing.  Finally at home Gigi is sitting on the stairs when Rex comes to the door.  She opens it and says I can’t take any more, I already know how you feel, when Rex pipes up and says “no you don’t” before laying a huge passionate kiss on Gigi.

I think Rex realizes that Gigi does not know who the doner to Shane is, and since Stacy does he has to play the cards to ensure Shane’s life.  I think he will tell Gigi this and they will work together.  However, Stacy is vindictive and will use the fact they slept together to hurt Gigi; which may end their relationship all together.  I can say that Rex will not go back with Stacy.

On the other side of town Natalie dropped the charges against Kyle Lewis, to get the name of Shane’s doner.  He is reluctant and says he will only do what he promised Roxie, that is to keep the doner quiet.  So Natalie and Jarred blackmale him a bit.  Finally he takes him to see the doner at the hospital as asked.  That’s where we leave it.

Roxie is being threatened by the nurse at the long term care facility, who took the only bag left of Rex’s dad who donated the blood, that Roxie was keeping in her salon.  The nurse knows she tried to kill Rex’s dad and threatens to turn her in.

Cole was busted for drugs and was sentenced to 2 years in prison.  He goes to Star only to see she got the baby back, determined to keep her he proposes to her when her dad sees the proposal.  He gives them a full OK.  Back at his place he freaks out to Tea and threatens Cole’s life, she was taping the whole thing.  Todd leaves back to Dorian’s where he hopes his plan works; Blaire who is more sensible will not sign the paperwork and he will look like the good guy, until Tea runs in with the tape.  Star then threatens her dad to sign the papers or she will have nothing to do with him and leave.  Todd signs, and everyone is upset and shocked.  There will be a wedding very soon.

The theme is Lover’s Reunite, there is a work in progress to get Cole out of jail, but use him as bait for the drug infestation.  That will really P.O. Todd.  Gigi and Rex I think will get back together, but don’t be surprised if Stacy gets pregnant or uses the “sex” to try to destroy Gigi.

Now that Star has the baby back she couldn’t wait to tell Cole, who was at the docks clearing his head.  She didn’t hear from him and couldn’t understand why.  Cole however was in a bit of trouble, his old drug dealer showed up and gave him a bag of prescriptions for free to get him hooked again; Cole went to throw them in the lake when he was busted by a cop.  Since the cop ran him through the system, it became an immediate parole violation.. he was in front of a judge getting 2 year jail sentence with parole after 1 year with good behavior; that’s what was going on and Star didn’t know it.  Cole goes to her after the court hearing to tell Star the bad news, only to see her with Hope and find out he is now the father… problem is he won’t see her till she’s 2.  Its going through the grapevine that Cole will propose to Star.

Stacy is starting to dig her claws into Rex, breaking the bond with him and Gigi even more, including tearing Shane away from his mom.  Gigi will get her answer she is looking for, but when she tells Rex, Rex sticks to Stacy despite her lies and what she did to him, Gigi and Shane.  Its even possible he will sleep with Stacy.  I really hoped this would end and go back to normal, I mean she went to 1964 for him a few months ago.  Its a disgusting plot and one I hoped would end soon, but if Rex does go on that path with Stacy, then his character is one I would certainly dislike.

Jessica gets to bury Chole, her real baby, in the same spot she was before being exhumed.  Hopefully she will be able to heal from this and Brody will be by her side the entire way… I wouldn’t be surprised if she gets pregnant really soon with Brody’s child.

Dorian went nuts when Ray Montez left to help his daughter back in Columbia.  She tells Marco’s parents at his graduation party that Marco and Langston slept together.  That infuriates Marco’s parents who forbid him to see or have contact with Langston or Dorian again.  Immediately after she kicks Mo and his wife out saying she undid the paperwork and La Boulie is now her’s again; Mo vows to fight, and she fires the body guard.  Langston is furious at Dorian and threw her in the pool.  It was a mess that ended up with Dorian all wet, beautiful.

If you like nut jobs, they are bringing Bo’s old girlfriend back as well!

Todd drags Blaire back to court fighting for custody of the children.  Now that Blaire is better the temporary custody awarded to Todd is able to be reviewed.  Todd is desperate to get the kids, so he’s pulling the strings to have anyone say John and Blaire marriage was phony.  He subpoenas Marty, dragging her away from Cole’s graduation to testify that she is having an intimate affair with John, which she denies.  She makes it back just in enough time with John to watch him get his diploma.  Back at court the judge is about to rule, when in comes Tea to possibly state the marriage is phony.  If she does testify to this, she will most certainly be disbarred for her actions in facilitating this, and Blaire will attack her with all she has.  What will Tea do?  We have to wait till Monday.

Dorian found out Ray Montez will be leaving for Columbia to help his very disturbed daughter which sets her off.  Everywhere she looks someone is making out, she saw Star and Cole making out, Langston and Marco, Maurice and his wife, then goes to find Vicki and Charlie are getting married as well as Clint and Nora.  She snaps and breaks a glass in her hand; I feel another vendetta is coming to the Buchannan’s especially since Jesse snatched Hope and Dorian feels Vicki and Clint helped.  I would see another B.E. take over coming soon.

When last seen, Gigi is awaiting the new DNA test from Stacy’s hair and Rex is begging for an answer or info on what she keeps saying to him “I will tell you everything soon.”  Confused he doesn’t know what to do.  Her son Shane overheard Schyler and Gigi talking where she admitted to him that she never slept with Brody and wants to tell Shane so bad.  Shane runs to his dads to tell him, and finds him gone and Stacy in a bra awaiting Rex.  She gets out of Shane what he wants to tell Rex and lies up a storm to him so that he won’t tell Rex and stay mad at Gigi.  I really hope this nasty plot ends soon.

Jessica is a wreck over the hurt she caused everyone with Tess and Bess taking the baby, she is blaming herself for the death of her daughter and is going through a great breakdown.  She doesn’t see it yet but Brody is her knight in shining armor.  He came to her room to comfort her, but Jessica demanded he leave.  He refused, walked over to his blonde angel and grabbed her, with tears in his eyes confessed she helped him in the same situation she is in now with Shane, and that he loves her unlike he ever has for any other woman.  He personally said he will be there every step of the way through this horrible mess for Jessica, and nobody, not even Jessica will stop him.

Downstairs, Charlie comes to Vicki who is very worried outside on the terrace blaming herself for what happened to Jessica.  He talks her out of that thinking, stating he did it himself with Jarred, and look what happened… Then he proposed to her, completely wiping away the sadness as she gracefully accepted his proposal.

Clint and Nora agree to a speedy wedding in hopes it will revive some happiness in the family after Matthew’s accident, Cole’s betrayal, Jessica’s illness and the baby going back to the rightful parents.  However, I feel there will be someone left at the alter and it won’t be Nora.

Bo is desperate to get John back as senior detective.  He did a beautiful job with the serial murder terrorizing Llanview.  He is meant to be a cop!  I think we will see John soon divorce or annul the marriage to Blaire, and hook up with his one true love Marty.  He will go back to the force as its in his blood.  That’s my take on that.

We can’t forget Todd and Blaire.  I am starting to see a new kinder, and understanding Todd.  Star has made amends with her father, and Blaire even stated something to that effect.  With Star going through that horrible ordeal, I see Todd being her pilar of strength, and Blaire and Todd going back for another round, more than likely making Dorian very upset.

Meanwhile, Cole and Star found out that their baby is alive and are awaiting the Buchannan’s to come back with her.  She is devistated that her cousin lost her baby and holds no grudge for taking Hope.  She is in shock however to find out that she has seen and held her baby through these few months and never knew it.  I think Star is having second thoughts about giving up the baby to Marcie.

The Gigi and Rex fiasco will hopefully be coming to an end.  Schyler came to Gigi and told her he thinks Stacy didn’t save Shane’s life, meaning if he’s right, she doesn’t have to lie to Rex anymore.  They went to get the results of her blood back from the lab, but Kyle saw them and quickly changed the results to look like she was a match.  Schyler isn’t so sure still and goes to get the blood in his refrigerator and get another test done at another lab.  When Gigi and him, get back to his room, he finds the blood missing.

Gigi and Schyler go to Rex’s place to grab Stacy’s toothbrush, thinking nobody was home.  They enter to find Rex and Stacy in bed, but they didn’t sleep together.  A fight breaks out between Rex and Schyler from the lies Stacy told Rex about him.  Gigi and Stacy go at it throwing fists.  Rex kicks Gigi out and demands his key back.  Schyler upset thinking they didn’t get the DNA evidence they need, was surprised that Gigi has a lock of her hair she pulled from Stacy in the brawl.  We now must wait and see what will happen here.  The plot really is disgusting, how anyone would use a sick child to destroy a family when they need each other the most, for sexual personal gain especially from a fellow family member.

Buchannan’s

Natalie and Jarred found out Chloe is not Jessica’s but Star and Coles; a secret they were going to take to their grave.  Until Star and Cole took some of the hair in for DNA testing to find out why their baby died.  The lab tech recognized what was going on, and tried to blackmale Jarred and Natalie, wanting $100,000.00 or he was going to tell Star and Cole, ruining Jessica’s life.  At the bachelor party Jarred overheard that the body of Hope, Star’s baby was going to be exhumed, so he told Natalie.  The realized that tomorrow was their wedding and tomorrow everyone would know the truth behind the baby, so they eloped so their wedding would not get interrupted.

Jessica had an idea Chloe was not her’s and she turned into Bess at the hospital which led her to take off with the baby and never return to Llanview.  However in the car Tess came back and is trying to subdue Bess into letting Jessica deal with the problem and return the baby.  Right now there is an APB on the car and Jessica to have a safe return.  Brody who fell head over heals for Jessica is going to find her. Manning

The story of Todd never dies, there were a bunch of murders in Llanview all of which were tied to Todd in some way, so he was prime suspect.  Those deaths were Marty’s nurse who died before the testimony she was to give about Todd’s plans to steal Hope.  There was Brody’s army friend who died in the bed next to Marty, making her a suspect.  Blaire was stabbed multiple times but survived and shortly after Talia was killed at Dorian’s house trying to round up John who was accused of the murders.

Antonio was so upset over Talia, he knew John was the only one who could find the killer and let him lose.  John grabbed Marty and took off to Buffalo, despite the fact he is married to Blaire to help her keep her kids, she was in the hospital and well guarded.  In Buffalo, John runs into Todd’s cousin who raped Marty back with Todd.  He was in a mental institute.  He found out that the nurse was helping manipulate the murders, and planned to finish the job.  He then drugs John and leaves him in his padded room, and drugs Tea, Blaire and Todd taking them to the fraternity Alpha Delta Kappa, where Marty was raped and where Todd once belonged.  He tied up Todd and the girls and asked who would kill Todd.  Tea decided to and tried to kill his cousin instead.  He takes Blaire and Tea to the basement of the fraternity house, breaks the gas main and locks them in to die.  His girlfriend the nurse finds that Todd grand daughter Hope is alive and snatches her, bringing her to Todd.  He then finds out and is ellated she is alive.  His cousin decides to try to kill Todd himself after he breaks the news, and starts to slice Todd’s neck but not before John arrives and kills his cousin.

Everyone gets out OK, Todd and Marty with Hope.  They take her to the hospital where Jessica sees Chloe (Hope) and snatches her.  Its there that she puts two and two together that everyone knows its not her baby and takes off.

John stays behind to find Tea and Blaire.  He finds them in the basement half dead.  He gets Blaire out and the nurse overhears that her boyfriend is dead.  She goes to the basement and while John is taking Tea out, she lights a match causing a huge explosion.  John and Blair are OK, however, Tea was in bad shape.

After surgery Todd meets with Blair and realizes he has a second chance and he can’t wait to tell Star and Cole about Hope.  Tea makes it through surgery and was expected to make a full recovery.

Bossom

Shane finds out he has Leukema.  He needs stem cells to fight the cancer, so Roxy goes to Rex’s dad’s invalid care facility and finds he’s a perfect match.  Roxy doesn’t want anyone to know he’s alive and when they can’t find another match, she would have no choice.  However, Stacy over hears Roxy and follows her where she learns the whole story.  Stacy’s main goal is to get Rex and she finds out a way to do so.  She threatens to tell everyone about Rex’s dad to Roxy unless she plays along which Roxy does.

Stacy goes and tells Gigi that she is a perfect match, but won’t help Shane unless she gives up Rex.  Gigi willing to do what ever it takes for her son, relentlessly does just that.  She stages an affair with Brody who knows the whole story splitting Rex and Gigi up.  Stacy then goes with her plan to take her cell bag and switch it with Rex’s dad’s.  It works and Shane comes around.

Roxy knows Gigi is being blackmailed and told her, the stem cells are in, tell Rex the truth about Stacy since there is nothing that can be done now to take them back.  Gigi starts to tell Rex and Shane gets sick.  It wasn’t bad but Stacy drills it into Gigi its an omen for breaking her promise so Gigi shuts her mouth.

Rex totally turns on Gigi, and Stacy tells Shane once he’s better that his mom slept with Brody.  This makes Shane furious, turns him against his mom and he moves in with Rex, making Stacy mad.

It turns out though, Schyler was a long time lover of Stacy and wants her back.  He knows she’s up to something but doesn’t know what.  He finds Stacy throwing a bag of something away in the bio hazzard bin in her room.  When she leaves he retreives it realizing it’s Stacy’s stem cells.

Schyler tries to tell Rex but Rex wouldn’t listen.  So now he’s off to tell Gigi what he knows.  Things are getting worse for Stacy, the man she stole 20,000.00 from in Vegas is knocking at her door threatening her, Shane and Rex.  He meets Rex one on one and tells him the story of what happened, but Rex refuses to believe it.  Meanwhile, Schyler is telling Gigi what he knows.

Things are going to come to an end with this disgusting plot and I hope Rex and Gigi find their way back together.

Cole and Marty

Cole entered rehab and managed with Star’s help to detox himself and stay clean.  He and Star decide to exhume the body of their baby to find out what’s wrong.  They are actually coming together like a couple again.

Meanwhile, while locked in the room with Todd, Todd makes her remember all the details of her rape, while making her remember all the good the came since.  She fully recovered from her memory loss and is super happy that she remembers Cole, who is happy his mom is back!

When it first started, I can almost guarantee no one had an idea it would earn the title for the longest running show in American history.  With over 16,000 television episodes it set a standard that none have been able to challenge.

It’s not everyday a soap opera goes off the air.  The last major one was “Another World” almost fourteen years ago.  Many of the soap operas that are still programmed have been around since the incorporation of television, set around the housewife.  It’s nice to see that kind of programming can run for so long and not have repeat story lines.

“Guiding Light,” a television icon, will be surely missed.  Watch while you can, and when you do, realize you are watching a show that started on the radio, which no other surviving show can say.

TRIVIA INFO:

The soap opera got it’s name because it was sponsored by dish soaps typically. “Guiding Light” was the soap that put that term to light for all others.

Shane Bossom:  Returning home to get his inhaler with his mom Gigi; almost get into a head on collision with Cole who was returning from the school dance with Matthew who was driving under the influence of narcotics.  Luckily Gigi was able to swerve and miss Cole and Matthew crashing into a tree.  Shane and Gigi both sustained minor cuts and bruises, but Shane went into an asthma attack and was taken to the hospital.  While at the hospital they took their standard tests and sent them both home.  Those tests would later show that Shane has Leukemia.  Scared to death, he is taking the strength of Rex and Gigi and looks to fight this terrible disease.

Meanwhile, Rex and Gigi had Stacy and Roxy tested to be a potential bone marrow match in case Shane would need it.  Stacy over hears Roxy talk about Rex’s dad and follows her to his dad’s hospital room.  Do you think this nasty young lady would do the right thing?  No, she waits till Roxy leaves then goes in to see who Rex’s dad is.

If you think that is bad, Stacy actually is a perfect match for Shane; and she uses that to get what she wants.  A romp in the hay with Rex, and according to sources, Rex will sleep with her to get his son better.  What a horrible thing to do to someone, use their son’s life as a means to get what you want.

Matthew Buchannan:  Matthew was in the car with Cole when the accident happened.  He was already humiliated in front of his classmates, and now ends the night in a life threatening accident.  He was thrown 25 feet out of the car, but is alive.  He goes to the hospital to find out he is permanently paralyzed.  Nora and Bo try to get his hopes high for a recovery but Matthew blames himself for this and is rapidly falling into a depression.  The good thing is, the vertebra was compressed hurting the spinal cord, but it was not broken or severed; which could mean he may walk again.

Cole Thornhart:  Cole was driving the car and managed to get away with minor damage.  He knows about Matthew and is destroyed he hurt his friend.  Nora laced into him giving Cole a taste of reality.  She told him that Matthew looked up to him, and this is how he repaid him.  She also found out it was Cole that smoked the J and allowed Matthew to take the fall for him.  Nora has recently told Cole she will be prosecuting him and Cole was placed under arrest.

Star Manning:  If she hasn’t suffered enough, she has just cost Skyler his job teaching, her dad was arrested for the attempted murder of Blair, her mom Blair is lying in a hospital bed in a medically induced coma; and the doctors won’t update her of her mom’s status.  Then she finds out from Marcie that her baby didn’t die from RH disease.  Now she is wondering what is really going on.  This girl has endured more than any other character these last few months and has proven to be more mature than anyone on the show.  

Brody got out of St. Ann’s and moves into Roxy’s hotel.  She puts him up in the same room where his friend Wes was killed.  Jessica goes with him, and they kiss.  They both agree to be friends, but you can tell in their faces this is not what they want.

Natalie and Jarred put two and two together, realizing Bess went to the hospital and swapped babies.  They know Jessica’s baby that they all fell in love with is really Star’s baby, and now they are contemplating telling someone about it.  They know the truth will destroy Jessica and their family, but its torture for poor Star (Natalie’s niece) that is mourning her baby Hope.  Its a decision nobody would want to have to make.

Blair was taking a shower when someone came into her bathroom, brutally stabbing her two times.  Dorian walks in after fighting with Mo for her fortune back, discovering her niece on the ground fighting for her life.  No more than a few seconds later, Todd walks in.  Dorian freaks out on him saying he did this to her, and Todd claims his innocence again.  However, it was Todd’s house where the nurse was killed, and Blair was stabbed and he was there too.  It makes you wonder if he really is the killer of these women or if its just being at the wrong place at the wrong time.  Each one however has a connection to Todd in some way.

Star, kissed Mr. Joplin sending Cole into a frenzy.  He told the school principal about his drug use back in the day and also told her about Star and him making out.  The principal suspends Mr. Joplin indefinitely, and Star tells Mr.Joplin she’s sorry; she does have a thing for teacher though.

After the dance, Matthew gets in Cole’s car and asks him to leave, and take him anywhere but school.  Cole just downed a ton of pills, agrees to Matthew’s request and they go driving.  It wasn’t long before Cole passes out behind the wheel, getting into a major accident with Gigi and Shane.  Gigi is OK, but Shane started to have an asthma attack.  John is down the road with Marty and he comes to the rescue.  He removes Shane out of the car and gets him the medical attention he needs.  Marty finds Cole ejected from his car, pinned under the rolled vehicle.  With all her power she lifts the car and John pulls Cole out from under it.  Cole swears he is going to die.  Nobody knows that Matthew was in the car, and was thrown far into the woods.  Personally I think they are going to write Matthew off the show, and Cole will have to deal with the consequences of his actions.

Meanwhile, Stacy has drugged Rex’s beer and he is starting to black out.  She is totally obsessed with him and plans on breaking Gigi and Rex up.  Shane is begging for his father, who is being manipulated by Stacy, but won’t give into her attempts to make him say he wants her.  He is fading out and his son and Gigi need him, and she can’t reach him.  This is not going to be good for Rex and his rocky relationship with his son, nor is it good for Stacy and Gigi.  Gigi however has a feeling her sister intends on destroying their relationship.

We all know David Vickers, now David Buchanan, and Dorian got married.  Dorian married him for his money, but David didn’t care.  They came over from the Go Red Ball and threw everyone out of their new home, thanks to Asa.  Few hours later the DNA tests come back, and they find David is not a Buchanan, but actually the father of Rex.  The next morning, after Bo tells Rex the news, giving Rex nightmares all night, the DNA specialist returns to apologize; it turns out there was a mixup in the computer.  David is not Rex’s dad; he is in fact a Buchanan, but not Asa’s son, he is Bo’s son.

If you go back to when Rex and Bo went to 1968, Rex was Bo, and at the night he was to go to Viet Nam, they had a party.  Rex thought David’s mom was Gigi and since he was never going back to 2008, he was going to sleep with her to have some closeness to Gigi.  She got pregnant that night with Bo’s son David Vickers.  It was actually Rex who messed it up, yet it saved the Buchanan’s their fortune.

As Bo’s son, he is not entitled to the money because he is not the son of Asa.  The will was based on the assumption David was Asa’s son.  He is an heir to it, but Bo must die for him to inherit the money.  That means Dorian is an heir if Bo and David die.

David says if he was Asa’s son, he would have no problem throwing everyone out; but he respects Bo too much and wants to do the right thing.  He wants to pursue happiness, and is leaving to Los Angeles to pursue that career.  Dorian would not go with him, but says instead she is going to stay behind and try to get the fortune.  David said he will not have her destroying his family.  Clint is fair game, but do not take the money.  Now Dorian will have to fend for herself and get her home and fortune back from Mo since she has no claim to the money unless she is able to contest the will that does say David gets everything.

Rex and Gigi

Gigi’s sister is getting a little too friendly with her sisters boyfriend and Gigi is on to it.  It looks like she came back only to snatch Rex from her sister, who she is trying to be exactly like; even to the point of stealing her name for a stage name in Las Vegas.  There will be a catfight between sisters soon, if she doesn’t back off.

Rex on the other hand may actually find his dad.  Upon Roxy lying to Rex again that David was his dad, then goes and admits that’s a lie, that she actually killed his dad; she goes to see his father in the hospital who appears to be in a vegetative state.  After Roxy leaves, he starts to move his legs.

A mist the confusion over David, the DNA test did prove something strange.  David is Rex Balsom’s father, or is Rex his father?  David knows he never slept with Roxy, so there is no way he could be the father of Rex that way.  So lets go back to 1968, when Rex and Bo were transported back in time.  Remember when Rex slept with that girl who looked like Gigi… Even though Bo slept with her, or so we think, Rex was completely convinced he would not see Gigi again and slept with her.  She was David’s mom.  This could get VERY crazy, I would expect to see David either the real father, but Rex has another mother; or Rex is the father from altering history when he traveled back to 1968.

Vanessa told Christian and everyone in his loft that she set up and took advantage of Ray, to get his money.  She still believes he killed his wife, but again has no proof of it.  In turn, Ray spent 635 days in prison for no reason.  Christian is now baffled, angry and lost the love of his life because of deception.  He is alive though, Ray did not kill him… 

The next few weeks are going to be crazy, I can’t wait to see Dorian out on her butt because of greed.

Buchannan’s

At the Go Red Ball, Dorian announced her marriage to David Vickers, who is Asa’s biological lost son.  Within moments Beaver Calhoun, told David he was actually a Buchannan.  David was furious that Dorian married him only for his money, but forgave her and went to claim his fortunes, to Dorians delight.

They wasted no time going to Clint and Nora’s house and booting all his brothers, Nora and Bo’s son to the street.  Upon a small celebration, David answers the door to find Addy, who smashes a pie in his face.  Addy is very upset with the both of them.  She said Karma will come back and haunt those two, and she wanted nothing to do with it.  Dorian pleaded, for her to reconsider but Addy stuck her ground.  As she went to leave, the entire Buchannan clan was at the door and walked in.

Dorian begged,this is our house, you must leave.  Clint replied, we did a DNA test on the hair that we took from David’s head.  He is NOT Asa’s son.  Now Dorian is in shock, David is in shock, because she gave up all her wordly goods thinking this was a fool proof plan.  This also causes Langston, Star and Blair to be on the street.

I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Montez/Vaga

On Friday we found out that Ray Montez escaped from a Columbian prison and attacked Christian knocking him out at his home.  He proceeds upstairs to Lola, with a knife saying he vows revenge.  Christian comes upstairs to protect Lola, and they tussle down the spiral stairway.  Right before Ray regains control over the knife, Tea and his daughter bust through the door, and she begs her father not to kill Christian.

Lola, Tea, Ray,  Christian and Ray’s daughter are all downstairs on alert.  Christian is demanding answers, Ray swears he is innocent from killing his wife, his daughter and Tea are backing him up.  Christian screams, throws his chair and grabs Lola, demanding she explain.  She confesses, she killed Ray’s wife.

What will happen now?  Its been rumored Ray will get a contract with OLTL, so who know.  Christian gave up the love of his life for this woman, now he has nothing, and Ray will probably get his daughter back and immunity.

Tea begged Todd not to say anything, to come have some drinks and celebrate his freedom while she figures out something to do about Starr.  Honestly her lack of caring for his daughter, who did nothing wrong and was a victim of Teas manipulation, paying the price for her deceptiveness shocked me.  She’d rather trade Starr for Todd.  However, no matter what, Starr is Todd’s favorite and he was not going to see her go down.  He made a full confession even to raping Marty again.  He then ran after Starr who ran away after being released from the handcuffs.

Cole left the courtroom and popped more pills, Marty was in shock of what she just heard and how Starr almost took the punishment for her father, that she ran from the courtroom as well.  John followed, he didn’t want Cole to have to deal with that too.  Blair stayed behind and back handed Tea with a beautiful slap across the face. Worthy for what she caused her daughter, and Blair has every right to be mad, I probably would have done worse.  Now those two are going to throw down probably on Friday’s edition, since that’s where they left it.

David and Dorian left Llanview and landed in Vegas to get hitched.  Dorian called Clint to bragg that she knows about David, taunting him.  Clint gave Rex a promise that if he gets ahold of David, and stops the wedding with any means possible, he will pay him $100,000.00 on top of his salary.  Rex was estatic, and runs to tell Gigi and Shane goodbye.  He finds them at John’s restaurant, but ends up taking Gigi with him.  She is floored by the amount of money coming Rex’s way, and together they make a great PI pair.  The problem now is finding David, and monks are very much present in the Vegas desert.  I have a good feeling they’ll succeed, and Dorian will have to fight Mo for her fortune back.  Kind of nice Karma if you ask me.

If Rex succeeds, Shane is already impressed with his possible money situation for this gig, but to know he is on a top secret mission is giving Shane a bit of respect for his dad.  This may allow Gigi and Rex to get married, something we’ve all been anticipating.  I also think if David knows he is a millionaire he will either come back and run the company with his brothers successfully, or he will turn it down for his new life.  Despite David’s past, I sense he would be an asset to the company, if he choses to take the wealth, and shock everyone.  Maybe his short term as a monk, if he leaves, is the path he needed to be a good brother and worker for B.E.

Now for the strange side of the show.  Dorian has asked David Vicerosi to marry her, in her plot to obtain the Buchanan fortune once again.  David does not know he is the long lost son of Asa.  If he doesn’t find out and Dorian marries him she will have the entire fortune, and more, she will own their homes and kick them to the curb.  Unfortunately, David accepted Dorian’s marriage proposal, so she is just a few moments away to achieving her dream.  

Rex is out trying desperately to find David and tell him he is the sole heir to the fortune. They already left to Vegas to get married, and are probably at the airport.  The key is will Rex get to them in time.  If he does, David will see he only wanted him for his money he didn’t know he had, but David is now a monk and may reject the money all together and let Clint and Bo deal with it.  I can’t see Dorian getting the company back again, its been 3 months since she turned it over, they can’t go through this again.  However, Dorian did sign her entire fortune over to Mo Stubbs.  If this plan fails, she will have nothing, no home, no clothes no money which would be a great back fire.

Delphina said to Mo’s fiance that great wealth will come between them.  Will that be Dorian trying to get her money back?

Todd asked Tea to help him bury the body and murder weapon in a cover up, but Tea didn’t go along and called Antonio.  She had a plan, which is materializing into her taking the rap for the murder, probably will say it was self defense.  The real key now is, if Todd didn’t kill her, who did.

I think it’s Brody’s friend.  He wanted sure revenge and the way he was speaking to Marty in his loft it sure sounded like he did it.  He also wanted Manning to pay for what he did to her.  Seeing the write up in the Sun, it would have been a perfect crime.  She ends up dead in Todd’s house, nobody would believe he didn’t do it and he would go to jail for life over the murder.  His motive is she was the star witness to putting him away for attempting to steal Starr’s baby as she was the nurse.  So in the end Marty would finally see Todd thrown away in prison, and he would get his long awaited revenge.  

On the other side of the trial, Schyler decides to go to his mom’s gave and read her the letter.  Starr calls and says thank you for coming to the trial, and hope he understands that Starr would not hurt her father.  He hung up and said he knew all to well what she was talking about, and burns the letter his mom wrote to him saying what she had entered into with Manning.  He did this to protect her image, but unfortunately, it was the only evidence left that would put Todd in jail.  Todd will go free.  

Tea never realized how much trouble she just caused.  She kept a guilty man from going to jail, at the collapse of his daughter Starr who just lost her best friend Langston from a blurt out comment about her parents, it sent Marty and Cole over the top and I foresee Tea getting bumped off by Cole.  It killed Lee and now put a decent man in trouble with the law.  When she sees what damage this really did, I await future episodes to see how she will deal with it, if she has a heart at all.

Jessica was in St. Ann’s for her split personality disorder.  She has been helping Brody who also landed in the institute when he started to see a child he killed in Iraq.  Their friendship blossomed, and she helped Brody make a breakthrough.  On that very eve of his breakthrough, Jessica went back to the cottage to see if she could figure out what Tess was freaking out about.  There she was told by Bess, that she wanted to kill Natalie and used Tess to do the job she couldn’t.  Jessica then is “integrated” or so we think after that incident.  She told Natalie what she thought to be the truth, which really is a lie, and now Natalie is furious.  

I think Bess will return because she will realize that Jessica is in jeopardy with Natalie being so upset.  It won’t help Jessica and this will slow down her progress to recovery.  I expect this will all change soon.

Brody I feel will be out of St. Ann’s shortly as well.  He is putting the past behind now that he found the truth about that incident.  

Manning:  This has been a mess, when I last spoke about this Starr testified that she knew her dad (Todd) was intending to kidnap her deceased baby.  The lawyers went on to get their cases built.  In that time, Todd tried to commit suicide, Lee Helpburn returned and Starr’s doctor son is now her Biology teacher.  Throughout this ordeal, Starr has confided in Skyler (teacher) and he has helped her get through this rough patch in her life.  He recently found out from a letter from his mother what Todd intended to do, never knowing he had the answer all along.  

The D.A. Nora got a hold of Lee and gave her a plea deal.  Todd told Thea she could not under any circumstances hurt or cross examine Starr.  Having her hands tied behind her back, she manipulates the case.  She tells Starr that her dad tried to kill himself and that this trial depending on the outcome may try again.  Starr now gets on the stand and says she lied before so her dad would not go down and kill himself.  Thea ran a front page story on the Sun, about Lee.  Lee freaks out and runs knowing many past enemies would try to kill her.

Todd knew Starr was covering for him, and told Thea that he didn’t know what she did, but she did something; he could see it in Starr’s eyes.   He vowed that Starr would not pay for his crime as she already is starting to do.  3 hours after the trial, Thea goes to Todd’s house to find a ghastly sight.  Todd killed Lee, cold blood, on his livingroom floor.

That’s where it ended on Friday.  I had a speculation that Todd was wanting out or they were going to write him off for a while.  This may be the way he does it.  I was a bit frustrated that Todd has now gone to trial two times and everything gets thrown out against him.  It’s like enough is enough already, find him guilty of something or stop bringing him to trial.  However, this incident of murder, there is no way to get out of that one.

It was amazing to find out that Thea is helping Ray Montez to set up Vanessa.  This marriage he entered into is going to hopefully keep Vanessa in the country long enough to get the answer Ray Montez is after; “Vanessa killed his wife.”  If that is true, what will this do to Lola and Christian; is this going to destroy his relationship with Sara?  Sara is keeping a tight grip over this marriage, but I feel that Christian is actually enjoying it.

Jarred is about to propose to Natalie, he asked her father for her hand in marriage… which he agreed to.  He also offered Jarred a job back at B.E.  There hasn’t been much word on B.E. since he got it back from Dorian; but look to see this a major topic in 2009.

Marty knew about Star’s baby, and that Todd said Star was going to give him the baby.  Star can testify she never intended on giving her dad the baby, and Marty can show the lies.  Todd now has a mess, because he either needs to deny the accusation, making his daughter look bad or say that everything she is saying is true, putting him in jail for attempted kidnapping.  Star is set to testify a heart jerking testimony to the court on Tuesday… you won’t want to miss this.  Will Todd finally pay for his actions, and can Thea get him off on this.  Is she prepared to destroy her former step-daughter whom she loves and admires?  Star is the only person who can save Marty from Todd being free.  If Star’s story does not give Todd justice, then Cole or Marty will probably end up killing him.

This not only shows Marty how much his own family can’t stand him, but Cole should realize how much Star loves him because she put her own father in jail for him and his mom.

Vaga

With Lola about to be deported from the USA back to Columbia, we all thought some kind of last minuet miracle would happen, like it did for Langston.  Christian has had Lola in his apartment as her legal guardian, and it put a small riff in Sara’s love life with Christian.  She always suspected that Lola had other intentions with her boyfriend.  

On Friday, Thea a long time friend of Carlata’s and x-wife of Todd Manning stormed into town and turned the place upside down.  Thea told Christian and Lola one way to stay in the country was to get married, but it had to be very convincing in the post 9-11 era.  Lola asked Christian to marry her and Christian respectively said no.  He was committed to Sara.  Christian came home where Sara was waiting for them, and sent Lola on her way to the hearing.  Christian and Sara started to get hot and heavy, until a letter came in under the door, saying one life … maybe two.  This sent Christian down to the courthouse to bring this evidence to the judge.

When Christian and Sara arrived, it was too late the judge ordered them deported.  Christian tried to sway the judge with the letter but to no avail.  Christian then said he was marrying Lola in front of the judge and Sara.  Sara was crushed, and heard Christian lie to the judge saying they were in love.  The judge however is not buying it and says it sounds like a fraud scam against the US Customs Department.  He told Christian what he was in store for, the US Immigration Department would flag this and investigate the couple.  Any mess up and Lola would  be instantly deported and her name would enter a list never to be allowed back on US soil; Christian would face serious felony charges.  Christian told him he understood, when Thea came in and backed up the story.  The judge allowed them one day before a board meeting to see how well the couple knows each other.

Upon returning home from the court house, Christian met Sara walking out of the apartment.  She said she gathered her stuff, photos, etc and was leaving.  Christian told her he loved her and her alone.  Sara said this won’t work, and left broken hearted.  
Manning

Todd pled guilty to all charges he was accused of including rape of Marty Saybrook.  Just when we thought it was all over, Thea busted in the doors and made Todd reconsider what he was doing.  He said he had nothing without his children and Marty.  Thea told Todd to fight, and show Marty the truth.  Todd then returned to the court and denied all charges, and turned his plea to not guilty.  

Bail was discussed and denied because of Todd’s past with fleeing the law, and his endangerment to himself and his family in the past.  Thea then asked the judge for an immediate court date, which was granted for the next day.

Marty, Blair, Star and Cole were all disgusted with Todd’s choice, for now he will put Marty through a circus on the stand.  Todd now has lost any plea deal he had and is now facing life in prison if convicted.

PLOT THICKENS….

With Thea in the middle of both messes, most importantly Lola and Christian, this looks like the work of Carl Hesser who escaped Columbia and vowed revenge on Christian.  Thea can be very persuasive and this seems to be his kind of work.  What better way to get back at Christian than to break him and Sara up, while making him marry a killer.  After leaving the courtroom, Thea gets a call on her cell; and she answers in a plot like way… “Everything is going great, I have everyone eating right out of my hand.”  Look for Carl Hesser’s return.

Sara was said through some soap columns that she would be leaving the show for a little while, the possible plot was she was going to follow her mom Tina and try to catch up with her.  Christian begs her not to go, but she has nothing left to stay for.  Will she come back or will this be a permanent leave?

Star buried her newborn baby that died from RH disease, but really it was Jessica’s baby.  Cole and Star are torn up over the death, but with a break through, Marty, Cole’s mom showed up at the cemetery which meant a lot to Cole.

Dorian was so impressed with Maurice’s cooking, the owner of the Bon Jour in Texas, that she offered him a full time job as her personal chef and wants to help him open a chain of restaurants.  Maurice took the job and is moving to Llanview.

Manning

Its never a dull moment with that family.  Todd is up for arraignment for his crimes on Marty, but here comes his old flame Thea who is an international lawyer who wants to represent him.  He is refusing her help, but when it came time to state his plea to the judge on 10 counts, Thea busts through the door and says to Todd, “Don’t you say a word.” 

Before the arraignment, Blair took Jack to see his dad in jail who is very angry at all the lies and secrecy that’s going around.  Todd was actually up front with his son and even admitted he was going to leave without saying goodbye to him. 

Vagas

Sarah is furious that Ray Montez’s estranged wife is in town, prancing around Christians apartment half naked, but she know Christian is her guardian.  She was told, she is being deported.  Christian has gone all over with Lola looking for some help to keep her in the country, and he runs into Thea at the Buenos Dias.  Her advice to Lola is to get married, but marry for love.  Thea finds out Lola’s divorce to Ray has gone through so she is free to marry.  Lola turns to Christian and asks for him to marry her.  Personally, I don’t see him saying no.

Lola is a man eater, I personally believe she killed Ray’s wife because she wanted him, then framed him for the murder.  The same could happen to Christian, but he is too naive to realize what’s going on.  He might in turn lose Sarah.  Sarah has mentioned she may be leaving the show for a while, the “theory” is Lola and Christian are going to get married and Sarah will leave to be with her mom.

Manning

As we all know, Todd’s scheme with Marty came to an abrupt halt when John McBain broke into the house and got Marty to safety.  Todd’s plan became public knowledge that he intended on kidnapping his daughter’s baby and sneaking off with Marty to raise the baby, who happened to be her own grandchild.

Now, Star will confront her father in the weeks ahead which should cause some serious rifts through the family.  What could he say to his distraught 16 year old daughter?  Either way, it won’t be good.  Then he will have to face the wrath of the court system and Marty’s intense hatred toward Todd, for raping her again physically and mentally.

Charlie and Vicki

Charlie finished Carlatta’s Diner, now renamed the Buenos Dias.  Charlie found Vicki trying to destroy her father’s grave, hating him for what he did to her as a child and this was a way of reckoning.  Her fate became the fate of her daughter, Jess.  Charlie confessed his mistakes and his love for Vicki and said there will be a new beginning.  In order to prove it, he unveiled to Vicki the new restaurant which he modeled after the Bonjour in Texas where they met.

Jessica and Brody

Both got checked into the sanitorium, the exact same day.  Brody got some advice from Jessica and they became pretty good friends.  It would not surprise me if they become the medicine that cures one another and end up falling  in love.

Shane, Gigi and Rex

In an attempt to bring Rex and Shane closer, Gigi tricks Shane into going with Rex to the Buchanan’s house for Thanksgiving with Rex.  He took the bait and actually looked excited and happy.  They later would meet up with Charlie and Gigi at the Buenos Dias where the owners of the Bonjour were helping the kick off of the mock-up diner.  Here, Rex was introduced to the two by Shane and he asked, “Have you met my dad, Rex?”

Jarred and Natalie were saved from the room Tess built in the basement.  Charlie found the dynamite and ran it upstairs throwing it out the door as it exploded and nobody was injured.  Tess had the baby, then found it still born; in order to maintain composure, Bess her third alter ego came to life.  Bess swapped her dead baby with Star’s baby without anyone knowing, she then returned to Jess’s old cottage where Jess came back.  She was stunned to see the baby in her arms; but as she found the baby her mom and dad found her.  Jess was checked into a mental hospital for further evaluation.  Tess however was crying to Bess to let her find out how her baby was because she knew the baby was not crying.  Bess reluctantly agreed, and Tess met up with her mom and demanded she see the baby.  She brought the baby in and Tess freaked saying that was not her baby.  Bess then returned Tess to the “Cage” and let Jessica back out.

John McBain found Marty at Todd’s house while he was at the hospital trying to get the doctor to not follow through with his plan.  When he returned he encountered John and Marty and she had a gun to John.  John told her that Todd raped her, and she had a son.  It was then that Marty freaked out, John beat Manning to an inch of his life.  Cops came in, arrested John, Todd and took Marty to the hospital.  Marty was checked out by the doctor, and she met Cole at the hospital.  Cole was shocked to see her but he’s furious at Manning for keeping her from him all that time.  He is also upset his mom does not recognize him.  John was released by the Mayor who realized John could end his career.  He offered him an apology and gave John his job back.  However John turned the job down.  Blair is now afraid that John will go back to Marty.  She is disgusted at Todd for what he did and she told Star about her dad’s attempted plan to steal the baby.

Despite the fact her baby was OK, Dr. Joplin came back and told Star her baby was dead.  In reality Jessica has the baby but doesn’t know it because her alter egos do not share memories.  Star is crushed.  Dorian is pissed that she can’t get answers but vows to get some on why the baby died when it was perfectly healthy.

Rex and Gigi got a visit from Brody’s Marine friend, who asked Rex to drop the charges.  Rex realized Brody needed help as opposed to jail. He asked Nora to drop the charges but she can’t do it.  They did however strike a deal to get Brody checked into a hospital that will help him with these dreams and rages he received from being in the army.  Its rumored that while he is there, Jess and him will hook up and become a couple.  Shane is still getting used to the fact Rex is his dad, and Rex is happy for this.

One story coming to a head was Clint Buchannan trying to get B.E. back.  As we all knew Clint was turning into his father trying to get the company back, which really it was stolen from him, it tore his family apart and killed Nash, his son-in-law that sent Tess back.  His plan to get back at Dorian was to bring Langston’s (Dorian’s soon to be adopted daughter) uncle out of Columbia, fight for custody, win and threaten to bring her to Columbia should Dorian not sign over the company.  Dorian countered this act by trying to have Ray Montez bumped off.  The plan almost went through had John McBain not shot the would be assassin at the airport, but not before Ray Montez’s wife shot Ray almost killing him.

Ray still has custody of Langston, and lies in a bed fighting for life but regains consciousness.  Clint comes to his senses and has the Colombian government claim him as an escaped convict, freeing Langston to be adopted by Dorian…. however because of her role in the shooting, Nora, Clint’s girlfriend makes a deal with Dorian, she gives up C.E. and there will be no charges pressed on her.  Ironically Dorian agrees and B.E. is back, and she has Langston.

Now, Ray Montez woke up and is saying he did not kill his wife to put him in prison, his new wife did.  Ray may be an innocent man but in a Colombian judicial system corruption runs amok so this could lead to a whole new chapter story, as Christian is now getting close to Ray’s daughter protecting her as his own and I think maybe falling for Ray’s wife.  There is rumor that Sarah and Tina will be running away for protection, basically going on a vacation or maybe a contract deal glitch, which could lead to Christian falling for Ray Montez’s wife.

Todd Manning is still lying about Marty being alive, and is still planning on taking the baby from Star maliciously, but it seems like Marty is starting to work the good out of Todd and he may call the whole plot off.   Meanwhile, Cole has come to his senses and realized he was trying to keep the baby to keep his mother’s memory alive, he is by Star’s side as she is about to have the baby.  The real question is, will Todd go through with his horrible plan?

Tess is still running her diabolical scheme, she now has Jarred in the hole with Natalie and has set a large amount of dynamite in the cellar to blow them up, she knows her mom is there too but doesn’t care.  Charlie confronted her and she nailed him on the head with a pan in the kitchen of her moms home.  Vicki found Charlie and now knows that Jess is Tess and that something must be done, because she is the cause of Natalie and Jarred’s disappearance.  Tess ran away thinking she is safe and Bree is safe because she is at Todd’s when really she is at the home that is about to blow up.  Its rumored that Vicki’s alter ego will emerge to bring Jess back and help save Natalie and Jarred.  Supposedly by the 13th of November this story should come to an end.

As we all knew Rex and Gigi are back together, they planned on telling Shane that Rex was his real dad, but before that could happen Brody kidnapped Shane and almost killed him.  Instead he shot Rex who clung to life in a coma.  Adrianna comes back in a cameo appearance, and takes total control over Rex and doesn’t allow Gigi or Shane to see him.  Upon the doctors saying that they can do no more for him, Adrianna has Rex taken to her home to keep Gigi away.  Marci and Gigi find out where Rex is and sneak her in Dorian’s house, to Rex’s side.  Gigi somehow gets Rex to emerge from the coma, but Adrianna was there to watch.  She then admitted that a divorce was necessary, realizing that Gigi could do what she couldn’t.  Rex goes home with Gigi and Adrianna goes back to Paris.  Shane meanwhile is at Clint’s home with Bo’s son who went through a similar deal.  He said he always thought of his known dad as his dad like Shane with Brody but it was cool that he got to know Bo as his real dad and wouldn’t change a thing.  It was tough at first but well worth it, which made Shane think.  It will be some time for Shane to come around but I expect he will embrace Rex as his dad.

Gigi finally told Shane that Rex is his real dad, after Brody kidnapped Shane during a horrific flashback to his days in Iraq.  Brody attempted to shoot Shane mistaking him for a boy he killed in the service.  Rex throws himself in the line of fire, and gets critically wounded.  He is alive but on a respirator and in a coma.  His soon to be x-wife Adriana comes back and forbids Gigi or Shane the right to see Rex out of pure spite.  Upon the doctors saying that there is nothing more they can do for Rex, Adriana moves him to her home where Gigi and Shane have no access to him.  I have a feeling that will change, because Marcy has a plan.  Once Gigi gets to Rex I know he will be revived from his coma.  Adriana, who in real life left the show is back for a cameo appearance to add drama to the plot.  She is scheduled to be here till the beginning of November…. Expect Rex to come to then.
Todd and Marty

They are falling in love, but its based solely on lies.  Marty’s nurse was told my John McBain that she could be in ememint danger since Todd raped Marty a long time ago, and that she has a son who thinks she’s dead.  It seems like she wants to do the right thing, despite the check Todd gave her to remain quiet.
 

B.E. Vs C.E

Clint has been trying hard to get his company back from Dorian, so he brought Ray Montez, Langston’s Uncle from Columbia to gain custody of her and threaten to bring her back to Columbia.  In return, Clint would stop Montez who did not want to bring her back to Columbia in exchange for B.E. back.  Dorian denies it and hires a hit man to destroy Montez.  To her surprise it works but it wasn’t the hit man who did it, he was shot by John McBain who knew she was up to something, instead it was by his wife who fled Columbia to get away from Montez, only to find him in Landview.

Dorian now is suspected of a hit for hire, which could cost her the entire stock in B.E., her family and her freedom.  Langston will probably lose her uncle but found a cousin.  The chances of Clint getting B.E. back now with Dorian in the hot seat could prove tricky but not impossible.
 

Jarred and Natalie

Tina tipped of Jarred about Natalie who was locked in the basement by Tess.  Upon finding her, Tess locked Jarred in the room with her, and decided to pack up her daughter and flee.  Vicki who returned to the show knows something is up with Tess, and may have something to do with Natalie’s disappearance, but with Tess gone nobody will know where to find Jarred or Natalie and they are soon doomed to die unless they find a way out or Tina comes through and informs them about where they are.

We all know Jessica turned into Tess after Nash died, and she vowed revenge on her twin sister Natalie and Jarred, and she got it.  She built a sound proof room hidden downstairs in Vicky’s basement where she currently is holding Natalie hostage.  She has attempted to break Jarred up with a note that Tess wrote for Jessica who was forced to sign it.  Upon returning from Columbia, Jarred doesn’t believe the note and went to the police for help. 

Tina, Vicky’s sister found out about the room and is having a very hard time keeping this a seceret. Tess is using Hesser as leverage so her daughter does not get back intwined with that mad mobster, she is also blackmailing her with the jewels of Mendorra that she stole.  I look to see her cracking, because she can’t live with herself as it stands knowing whats happening to her niece Natalie.

Bo Buchannan is now the police commissioner once again.  He has ordered John McBain to look into what got Ramsay killed, and who Todd Manning has stored in his house despite the Mayor’s request to drop the case. 

Clint is using a scheme to get B.E. back from Dorian.  He knows she is loyal and possessive to her family, now that she wants to adopt Langston, he found a relative in Columbia of hers who he is paying to say he wants custody of Langston.  Dorian will be forced to give B.E. back in exchange for Langston.  His girlfriend, Nora is not happy about this at all.  Clint sent Jarred down to Columbia to fetch her uncle and bring him back, which he did successfully, unfortunately Langston’s uncle is a cold blooded murderer.

Upon the arrival of her uncle, Clint’s butler could not stand to live a lie since he too helped Jarred cover up his real identity, he gave Clint his resignation which Clint ripped up to give another chance.

Vega

Their mothers cafe Carlattas burned to the ground, Vicky’s boyfriend is rebuilding it for her.  That is the least of her worries though, because Antonio went down to Mendorra and sprung Talia from the clutches of Jonas and Carl Hesser by staging a gay betrayal of her father and her new husband causing treason.

Hesser escaped jail, and went back to the US where he kidnapped Christian, bringing him to Columbia and is now being portrayed as Langston’s uncle.  He met with Vegas wife who was shocked to see Christian in her husbands jail garb.  Now she decided to help him get back to the US, in exchange he help her find her husband.

Rex And Gigi

Rex finally knows he is the father of Shane, who is not happy with Rex.  He wants his dad, Brody and Gigi to get together.  He knows that Rex is in love with his mother and vice versa so he is standing tough to protect the family he now has.  Brody took Shane and they did a DNA test with Rex’s toothbrush that Adrianna sent to him.  So now Shane thinks Brody is his real dad.

Gigi said she will not lie to Shane anymore and is slowly starting to talk to him about the truth.  How Shane will take this is still unknown, but Rex really wants to be his father.  Brody has played such a mental game with Shane that it could hurt him more than help him.

Bo – Rex – Gigi – 1968

Bo was upset that Lindsey lied to him about her sanity in the Spencer Truman death, she faked her sanity to avoid jail time, and Bo was appointed her guardian.  All this info came out at Bo and Lindsey’s wedding by Nora, Bo’s ex-wife.  Bo gets so upset he leaves Landview and goes back to the Texas ranch where his life began.

Rex, completely concerned about his friend Bo, follows him to Texas.  Trying to talk some sense into the drunk Bo, who is planning on going for a horse ride in the terrible storm, walk to the stable to get the horse out.  Bo grabs a hold of the metal fence, while Rex has his phone in hand and they get struck by lightning, opening a portal that sends them back to 1968. 

Bo, in 1968, is actually his father.  Rex, is actually Bo.  Everyone they know from 2008 are people in Bo’s past in 1968.  They try to figure out how to get back to 2008, while trying not to change history.  Rex finally tries his cell phone which is able to call 2008 and he calls none other than Gigi.

Gigi realizes that Rex is in trouble and pays Delphina for help.  They travel to Texas to open the portal and get Rex and Bo back.  Delphina talks to her “Man” charecter who is helping Bo and Rex get back to 2008.  They figure out that they must go back to the exact location, and be struck by lightning again opening the portal so they can return.  When they do so, something goes wrong and Bo goes back to 2008, Gigi goes back to 1968 where Rex is still stuck.  The reason, Rex let go of the phone.

Rex and Gigi finally rekindle their love 20 years before they were even born.  Rex, who is Bo is being shipped to Viet Nam to fight in the Viet Nam war, Gigi realizes she will be left alone back in 1968 waiting for Rex, BO, to return.  She couldn’t take Rex not knowing he is really the father of Shane, so she tells him, “Don’t fight to come back just for me, come back for Shane too.  Your fighting to stay alive because you are his father.”

Meanwhile back in 2008, Brody knows something bad has happened to Gigi, worried Shane will be taken into foster care since he is not his real father, opens the package that Adriana, Rex’s estranged wife sends to Gigi to get the DNA from Rex to officially make Brody Shane’s father through Rex’s tooth brush.  Brody takes that toothbrush to have it checked for his DNA.  Despite the procedure, the lab took the tooth brush as Brody’s DNA which will prove he is Shane’s dad using Rex’s DNA.  He doesn’t realize that Gigi and Rex will return back to 2008, which will cause some major problems for both Shane, and Gigi.

Mendora

Talia is still married to the Prince of Mendora, and Sarah, Christian and Antonio escaped with their lives.  Antonio was on his way back to get Talia out of Mendora, when Christian and Sarah arrived to help.  They realize that just getting Talia out of there won’t stop her father from bringing her back to Mendora.  Christian and Antionio know they have no choice but to eliminate him.  The inside scoop says that this famous mobster of One Life To Live does not make it out of Mendora, and his charecter finally comes to an end, meaning it looks like Antonio and Christian will succeed in their plan.

That’s right, Vicki was saved.  I thought it would be the shows potential self destruction to eliminate a matriarch on the show.  Vicki after her crash went through Heaven and saw many of her dear deceased friends, but it was her ex-husband that convinced her she had so much more to live for.

Back on earth, Dorian, a physician was very pleased to know that Vicki was dead.  That is until David Vickers showed up and begged Dorian to revive her.  Leave it to Dorian to make it worth her while, before she would even help Vicki, David had to swear to divorce her sister Addy.  He agreed and continued to beg Dorian, till finally she got her medical bag.  Even Dorian was shocked to see that she had the Effe. shot in there.  She performed the procedure and Vicki returned.

Clint Buchannan Fights for B.E.

Clint has found ways to get B.E. back and over throw Dorian but he realizes that the process will be tied up in court and can last years.  He has another idea, before telling David Vickers he is Asa’s true lost son, he wants to propose to him an offer.  10 Million Dollars to divorce Addy, using Dorian’s money to do so.  Clint does not know that he already signed away his marriage at the hospital to live up to his promise to Dorian.  So how this will play out I don’t know.  Will Clint tell David he is a true Buchannan, making David who is already furious at Dorian, even more prone to fight for what she took from him?  Will he find another way to swindle his company back to the family it was stolen from?  Clint is very much like Asa all throughout.

Jessica turned back into Tess after the death of her husband Nash, and vowed revenge against her sister Natalie and boyfriend Jarred, because she blames them for his death.  In an attempt to end their lives, she cut the brake lines on Natalie’scar and asked her and Jarred to go to her cottage to pick up some left over bottles of Nash’s wine.  Instead, Vicki, Natalie and Jessica’s mom met up with Natalie in the garage and offered to go instead, taking Natalie’s car.

Natalie and Jarred walked in from the garage to surprise Jessica (Tess) asking who went and in what car?  They replied mom went in my car.  Sure enough, Vicki arguing with long time rival Dorian, whom she picked up on the side of the road due to a broken down car, crashed.  The last thing Dorian said to her before the crash was she slept with her boyfriend Charlie.  Vicki still didn’t believe this, good call since it was a lie in the first place.  Never the less, Dorian looked over at Vicki and could not feel a pulse, she was dead.

Today, Dorian’s dead ex-husband returned to tell her how disappointed he was with her, told her she needs to live her own life and not under the shadows of Vicki. 

Vicki went to Heaven, and had some reunions with Asa Buchannan, her ex-father-in-law, her dead grandchild, her alter ego and then the creator of the show.  Her grandchild asked her to forgive Charlie.  Which tells me she will be revived at the scene of the crash.  I also think the producer will show Vicki the entire process of deceit Dorian took against B.E., Charlie, and the mess Tess caused.  Look for her to come back in a vengeance.

Mandora And All the Craziness

Tana decided not to marry the Prince, which her a strained father and ex mobster said was her destiny, thus forcing him to live out his threat to kill Antonio, his brother and his girlfriend.  He also decided to behead Christina’s mom Tina and her impostor husband.

We left off with Antonio being taken to the dungeon with his girlfriend Tana.  Tina, her daughter and Antionio’sbrother were taken to a large waterfall, Tina once went over it and survived, but Tana’s father decided to make Tina watch with her daughters boyfriend as she is forced to go over the rocky waterfall tied to a boat for no chance of survival.

Blast To The Past

After Rex and Bo Buchannan got shocked on an electric fence, they were pulled back to the ranch in Texas.  When asked what year it was, Bo replied 2008, but found him and Rex stuck in 1968.  Everyone sees Bo as Asa, Rex as Bo and Jarred as Clint Buchannan.  They are confused on how this is happening and why?

To SUM IT UP

This marks the 40th anniversary of the show.  They are having flash backs and bringing back old “Ghosts” from the dead characters.  This should run into Tuesday, and maybe Wednesday.  It’s nuts to watch and nostalgic at the same time.

There are so many charecters involved with this juicy plot.  As young Star Manning made the adult decision to give her baby up for adoption to a family she knows will take care of it, her boyfriend and the babies father, Cole, is furious over the decision.  Star decieded to give the baby up for adpotion to Marcie McBain and her husband, who once adopted Sam, Star’s brother, before they knew his real identity.  As you all remember Todd, Stars father, fought in court and legally took him away from the McBains and Marcie kidnapped Sam to protect him from Todd.  These two are mortal enemies.

Cole felt he had no where to turn to keep the baby, so he went to the most unlikely source to keep the baby.  Todd Manning, Stars father.  This man tried killing Cole and almost destroyed his daughter and raped Cole’s Mother.  This set off a time bomb and now that Todd knows Star wants the McBains to have his grand child he vowed to destroy everyone that helps in that process, including Star, his wife Blair, and the McBains.  It’s a heated drama that will probably end up in someone’s death or incarsaration.  Funny thing is, Cole is trying to keep the baby because he no longer has a family, but he also has no job and is only 17.  His chances of keeping this baby now are even less than if he just allowed Star to do what she wanted to in the first place, and give the baby to the McBains where he could visit the baby.

Gigi and Rex

At Adriana and Rex’s wedding Gigi stood up hoping to tell Rex that he is the father to her son, unfortunately all she could do was tell her real feelings for Rex, which got her sucker punched by Adriana.  Rex still married Adriana, but found out two days later that Adriana was lying to him about Gigi and split up with her.  On the 4th of July, Rex spilled his true feelings for Gigi and as she was about to tell Rex he was the father of Shane, Brody and Shane came and interrupted.  Rex and Gigi did kiss passionately before the two arrived confirming her feelings for Rex too.  Brody now wants to be Shane’s dad, and told Rex to get lost, even though he knows Rex is the real dad.  I forsee this plot coming to an end real soon and Rex and Gigi will get back together and Rex can take his place as Shanes “Real” dad.  Brody on the other hand I think has feelings for Gigi and won’t make this easy.

The Buchannans

With the take over of B.E. by Dorian Lord, at the hands of Natalie, and Jarred’s lies, the family lost B.E.  They are working to get the company back legally, but it comes with twists and turns.  It wouldn’t be a soap if there wasn’t. 

Nash is dead from the take over, by Jarred trying to defend Natalie.  Jessica’s alter ego personality “Tess” came out and is falsely wooing Natalie and Jarred into her unknown scheme.  As it stands now she is trying to get them to move back into Natalie’s mom’s home with her, “To keep the family together.”  Natalie agreed.

Bo Buchannan finally decided to marry Lindsey, and at the alter his X-wife and Clint, his brothers new girlfriend Nora dropped a bomb shell that Lindsey faked insanity to avoid jail for killing Spencer Truman.  Bo broke off the wedding, and the entire family is furious at her for breaking Bo and Lindsey up.  Nora has wanted Lindsey’s blood for years and now finally has it.  Nora didn’t stop there, she had her rearrested for the murder and it looks bleak for Lindsey.  Nora will probably lose her whole family over this, but Bo and Clint need her to help them get the company back, since she is the D.A.

Natalie is not the prize of the family after her boyfriend’s lies cost her family their business to Dorian, and caused the death of her sister’s husband Nash, but she was determined to keep Jarred out of prision.  She made a deal with her dad that she will tell him who the real Buchannan brother is, in return Jarred will not be prosecuted for anything civil or criminal.  Disgusted her father took the agreement, and she tells them the real brother is David Vicars.  Now that Clint and Bo know who their real brother is, will they ever accept him?

Cole and Star…

Commissioner Ramsey & The Crown Jewels
Commissioner Ramsey’s plot to get money for the crown jewels took a turn for the worse.  Everyone knew he was a crooked cop, and his intentions on getting back into the FBI depended on getting someone well again, to do so he stole the crown jewels with the help of some thugs and setting up his own police agency to help him.  On Thursday, the princess came to get the jewels, which she was in on the heist.  She paid Ramsey for the Jewels that she knew he had.  She went to the rest room with the jewels intending to leave right after, when the two thugs busted into Ramsey’s apartment and shot him dead.  They took the briefcase of money but could not find the jewels.  John Baine’s listening outside to a bug in the apartment ran in, shot the two thugs dead, and went after the person who got away while he was on the stairs.  He did not know it was the princess and ran after her.  She got into the limo, when her ambassador to the US who was with her, shot John and sped off  in the limo.  To the princesses surprise the ambassador was in on the heist too, and tried to take the jewels from her.  She got out of the limo and ran away.

Meanwhile, Todd who saw his sister Tina, the princess go into Ramsey’s house followed her in his old apartment, now Ramsey’s, to find the Commissioner dead, and the two robbers dead.  He went upstairs to find the person who he had stashed up there helping to be Marty, Cole’s mom, and the lady Todd raped years ago.

John got to his feet and went into the apartment to see who was up stairs only to find Todd, and the empty bed, because Todd’s bodyguard took Marty, Todd’s plans are still unknown.

Jarred – Natalie
They didn’t show them on Friday, last we left off with Jarred was getting arrested for admitting he forged the DNA test to cheat his way into BI, and the Buchannan family fortune, when Natalie came to her dads house to witness him being arrested.

Gigi – Rex – Charlie and Roxy
Rex confronted Red and Roxy, and told them he never wants to see them again.  He disowned his mom for going along with such a hurtful lie.  He ran into Gigi in the hospital who was going to see Charlie.  Rex told her, that Adrianna brought Brody to Land View and paid him handsomely to get with Gigi and be Shane’s dad.  Gigi was outraged, and said she wanted to know the exact price Adrianna paid Brody, and asked Rex to find out so she can pay it back.  Rex said he would help her pay because it was his wife’s fault for the problem.  In Gigi’s anger rant, she let out that she could not believe Brody came to pretend to be Shane’s father for some money! She still has not told Rex he is the father of Shane.
